This has replaced 480ah of lead acid batteries and it works better! Our lead acid batteries were dying in the middle of the night and this makes it through the entire night with 80 ah to spare! Also the battery charges faster on the solar array. It all makes sense higher voltages means lower amperage. When people say you can replace 500ah of lead acid with 250ah of lithium they’re right! Likes. The amphour capacity of this battery seems to exceed rating. Charging at voltage ie MPPT & charge converter settings keeps battery cool and charges fast. The price of the unit to quality of product is exceptional. This unit is rated up to a 10yr lifespan so time will tell. Keep a eye on this battery because the merchant makes a already amazing price better especially on Black Friday/ Cyber Monday. I will be purchasing two more units to assist in future off-grid solar. The weight of these units are much lighter the. Obsolete flooded lead acid batteries. One draw back is charging at low ambient. Use best judgment mounting inside of RV basements. This space is heated and cooled but it is not recommended to mount inside a coach. Everything is fused in event of BMS failure. Unlikely being a 200a bms. ... show more

I have an update, battery went low I was waiting for it to charge, I have a circuit breaker on it had I switched it off. As I disconnected the battery I heard a loud pop, I thought my inverter had burnt out. As I examined the battery, I switched the circuit breaker on showed battery was not charging. I smelled burnt, theses batteries are no good I had problems with them right from the start. ... show more
