The six C clamps I received where all uniform in quality of construction, materials, and functionality. The metal is stainless steel, which I confirmed by scraping parts with a hardened steel scribner tool. The simple yet effective design allows locking the clamp on the subject project easily with simply a wrench or ratchet/socket. The finish of the inside of the 'C' structures is a little rough, but the 90-degree angles are true. You would need to use a cushion between the clamp and any project surface that you wouldn't want to mar. I may file down the inside surfaces of the C to remove burr-like ridges on the edges. The clamps I have will close to within about 2mm of full - about the thickness of an index card. Removal of the lock washer on the tightening bolt will facilitate full closure. ... show more

I'm a novice welder and sometimes have trouble figuring out the best method to hold something before I tack it together. These little stainless steel clamps have come in handy with small diameter square tubing. They don't thread all the way down so you can't use them on thin material but they hold down very tight on most things you can fit it around. Hardware seems to be good quality. I am a woodworker and I purchased some of these to have on hand for clamping smaller pieces and whatever other need arises. They are made very well and one thing I really appreciate about them is the rotating disc on the screw. That allows me to tighten up on a piece without marring the surface. These will also come in handy any time I have a flat wooden sign that I want to hang. I can mount a couple of these to the top edge with the flat bottom facing the front. Then I can attach a hanger wire to the clamps and not have to drill holes in my sign. I'm sure other uses will come up over time. These are nice clamps that worked great to hold my welding project tight - longer thin sections - and the clamps are low profile. I was using C-clamps, but their height kept getting in the way - these fit nice and close to the material. As long as the material you are clamping totals at least 1/16" these will work great. They are machined well; the tolerances are good, and they can exert plenty of pressure to get the items tight. ... show more

Being stainless steel construction, these small C-clamps by ZOWZEA are great for welding applications. They can support any clamping situation that doesn't exceed 1" or 26mm. They are manufactured with additional M8 threaded holes which can be used for additional clamping support or fine adjustment using any standard M8x1.25 bolt. Padding would definitely be required if using these with sensitive or softer materials but you do have reasonable pressure control if you're just tightening these by hand. Depending on your clamping requirements, you can apply more force using either a 1/2" or 13mm wrench. There are probably lots of other uses for these and being stainless steel, they should resist corrosion too.
