  • PERFECT for an Eames Chair
This works PERFECTLY for our mock eames chair! My husband is 6'4" and he was unable to be comfortable in the chair until he found this headrest and installed it on the eames chair and because it is adjustable, it's perfect for him to lay his head back, relax and watch TV!

  • Not quite as pictured & no hardware, but still the winner.
The product image is different than what was received, though the pics in buyer reviews are accurate. The actual headrest has a more curved profile, which is what I wanted. I also needed one that does not have a button to press to adjust the height, since that button would prevent me from attaching the headrest as low on the chair back as I want. Mine did not have the defect issue that one reviewer's posted video shows. This does not come with hardware. I have seen this exact model for sale on a global industrial website that does include hardware, but it may or may not be the screw length you need, since that depends on the thickness of your chair back. The "pilot" hole in the headrest itself fits a #12 or 1/4" or 6M screw or bolt (the threads of the screw will only be digging into the chair itself and just "passing" through the headrest, so the hole you drill on the chair back will be smaller). In other words, you really just need a partially-threaded screw/bolt, if you want to be fancy. The space for the HEAD of the screw/bolt is 10mm (a AAA battery fits inside just right, for reference). It won't be hard to find a bolt/screw that fits, if you don't mind it not being black. Since I am a perfectionist and am modifying a $700 chair, I want to get the perfect hardware. From what I have researched, I believe a self-rolling/self-forming trilobal screw made for plastic (since my chair is plastic) is what I need. Turns out they are hard to find in the length I need in packages of less than 500pcs! I finally found a small pkg on Amazon, but not in black... ... show more

  • Works as intended
Works as intended and instead of drilling holes for bolts, which in my opinion would be dangerous for a chair. Buy C clamps which clamp this to a chair. Holds it tightly and works great!

  • LLR86205 compatible.
LLR86205 is the chair I got, and the holes in it line up perfectly. I was recovering from covid when I bought this and couldn't sleep lying down so the first day with this headrest I took a nap sitting up with it. Lovely. I don't know why I didn't buy it sooner.

  • Great headrest
Attaches with screws that you can screw into the wood frame inside most traditional full leather chairs - or it has some pieces to make it grab onto the top of the thin plastic office chairs. It really needs something to let it adjust forward and backward, since I think on most chairs this product will require you to lean your head back to reach it. However, you can always buy a small pillow to attach to it and make up the distance that way. Except for that significant flaw, everything is great - no odors, soft and everything was included to attach it. ... show more

  • Much Needed Support
I bought a few of these for both personal use and for my church. My church has some Tempur-Pedic T8000 chairs and I have some Steelcase Leap v1 chairs. After toying with several ideas, I managed to mount them with clamps and they provide excellent head support. For the Tempur-Pedic, I used large C-clamps (www.amazon.com/gp/product/B097KC1CMH/). The clamps had to put on the back rest and slide towards the middle first. Then screw the headrest onto the clamps. (Clamps also sold as pairs). For the Steelcase Leap, I used a smaller C-clamp (www.amazon.com/gp/product/B096Z2W9KF/) with some rubber pads for furniture (www.amazon.com/PRIME-LINE-Heavy-Duty-Anti-Skid-Plastic-MP75844/dp/B08GNQLF1T/). The rubber feet were attached via short screws and nuts to the top of the clamp. The clamp was put onto the chair backrest on the plastic part only. In both cases, I used 1/4"-20 screws with socket cap head and 1" length to connect the clamp and headrest. For the rubber pads, I used some misc short screws and nuts. ... show more

  • Great option for Alera Elusion
I saw another reviewer mention this headrest in their review of the Alera Elusion. This does indeed fit that chair perfectly, and I am happy with this purchase. Install was very easy and straightforward, instructions weren't even needed. Just pop out the rubber caps covering the pre-existing headrest holes in the Elusion, then attach headrest. I lean forward when I sit a lot so I'm not using the headrest full time but it was a nice luxurious upgrade to this chair that I can definitely appreciate when I lean back for a rest. ... show more

  • Modded with Horizontal adjustment and faux leather. Mounted to Steelcase Leap v2.
I drilled holes into the Leap chair to mount the headrest. I purchased longer 1/4"-20 screws, nuts, and washers to to make an adjustable horizontal mount in order to position the headrest to my satisfaction. The headrest can be disassembled with a Screwdriver and Hex Key to replace the fabric. Underneath the main fabric is a thin layer of foam fabric and they are both stapled to the back of the headrest. There's an additional layer of thicker foam that's glued to the front of the headrest. I glued a faux leather fabric to the removable foam and molded and restapled both. The headrest could be more comfortable with softer foam, but it does a decent job supporting my head. ... show more
