Comfortable and like the arms for support. However it was a bit difficult getting the backrest of the chairs put together it took 2 of us quite a while to get it done. I almost gave up, but eventually we got it. So far the chairs are holding up pretty well.

I wanted chairs that were more sturdy and that had arms. I ordered these to replace the dangerous folding chairs that my 89 yr old friend used daily. The chairs she used daily did not have arms to help her get up, seemed too low & did not they seem stable. They slid back on her tile floor when sat and got up. It was just a matter of time before she hurt herself. These chairs are firm & sturdy & are much easier for her to use. They have a little weight to them so they don’t slide on her floor but not so much weight that they are hard to move by yourself. They look nice too, well made and safe. So glad I got these for her. These chairs are ok. They are definitely inexpensive, so they have that going for them. They quickly became uncomfortable, mostly due to the back. The padding seemed to give way quickly, and you feel like you are leaning back against the edge of a piece of plywood. The chairs are also generally small in size. Most of the folks in our office are bigger people, so this may have contributed to the problem. I will not be ordering these chairs again. ... show more
