I’ve used the Lord Eagle hand mixer about 10 times to make chocolate chip cookies mostly and also whip eggs and cream for custard. Here’s my review: It mixes well, as expected, but it feels less sturdy than my previous kitchen aid hand mixer, and the gears and entry sockets are plastic. The sliding button feels very flimsy to me, like, at first I thought it was going to break when I slid it on, but it didn’t. Based on how it feels in my hand and when I turn it on, I fully expect the plastic slide button to break off somewhat soon and leave the metal shaft behind—still usable—but painful to push with your thumb. The traditional beaters are of the square-ish, flat, concave variety, like the kind my mom had when I grew up in the 80’s. More beater accessories (3 kinds) than my old Kitchen Aid hand mixer of 20 years that finally broke. I kind of expect the Lord Eagle hand mixer to break after a few years of use. Hopefully I’ll be surprised and it will last much longer than expected. I wanted to give it a try because of the 5 star user-reviews and low price (additionally, it was on sale when I purchased it, so an even lower price). It’s priced fair. I would totally buy it for a guest kitchen or a college student. Maybe a young married couple. But for someone who is more experienced in baking, next time I’ll buy a higher quality name-brand hand mixer. However, the reviews on the replacement for my old Kitchen Aid hand mixer report that the current version of it also has plastic sockets, so who knows? Maybe they’re all plastic these days. I like my 20 year old Kitchen Aid hand mixer beaters better, they’re wire shaped and easier to clean. These beaters are more square with a concave flatness to them, and thus more crevices for batter, and don’t clean as effortlessly, and not as pleasant to “lick” clean, LOL. Wink. Yet, again, this seems mostly unimportant. And the price is really good. May exceed my expectations. I feel like the price is very fair for what you get. It will get me through awhile, satisfied my curiosity, and then I’ll probably replace it with a higher quality brand eventually.

I love that this comes with a storage compartment for the mixing blades to sit in and that the mixer itself sits on top. I've only had it for a couple of months but I use it a lot and it's worked well so far. The slow speed is a little too fast in my opinion and the wisk could be a little more sturdy as it's fairly thin, but for the price, I highly recommend.
