I didn't think this thing would work very well, and fortunately was proven wrong. It comes with 8 sliced "pool noodles" that you can further cut to match your door width. We have a door that's used often, is old and odd sized and has a 3/4 gab at the bottom that is very drafty in the Winter here in Minnesota. Replacing the door due to it's weird size is not a possibility at the moment so we were stuck with the gap and worn out rubber "blades" I've installed in the past. The rubber blades always wore (3rd set and stopped putting them on) out and loudly "scrapped" the floor and due to the blade holder being metal had to be screwed onto the wood door, and always had gaps on both sides (i.e. never sealed tightly). This unit you cut to fit with easy to follow instructions, and so far has worked flawlessly. We don't use it for the "noise blocking" capability so I have no idea how well or not that works. It does close the gap in our door so I'm assuming any noise coming through the gap would be blocked well. ... show more

I’ve been shoving a rolled up towel in the gap under my back door. Decided to give this a try. I love it. Super effective. Easy to use. I received a cloth cover and 6 pieces of dense not really foam but a type of firm foam. Not like a couch cushion. Any way I cut two pieces of foam to make it fit my door. I really love this product. It was not so easy to install but once I figured it out, it fit perfectly! I was very pleased with the product and it was a great price! The only drawback is opening and closing my door has made it stretch so it doesn't fit tight anymore. I don't think is going to fit tightly, for very long. That is disappointing. To bad they didn't make the fabric a little stronger so it would stretch so much. Try it for yourself, you might love it, but it didn't meet my expectations. ... show more

My door is roughly 30 inches wide. The pictures on the product listing page do not look anything like the product that I purchased and received - they should do a better job of providing realistic pictures. I followed the provided instructions...see attached. Very simple. Measure door, cut foam, tape foam together, push foam into sleeve, fold slack, slide it all under the door. They then want you to "tuck the corners" to make it "neater" but whoever wrote that was not on the same page as the design team... Not impressed with the look of it. Even if my door was wider. Also - the "noise cancellation" is...sub-par. To be frank, I don't even want to deal with the hassle of the return process. If you have a 30 inch door and are looking for something CHEAP and dont care about weird, clunky aesthetics...then go for it. It seems to work as intended. Otherwise...spend your money elsewhere (or - something I neglected - get one that is closer to the same length as my door's width). ... show more

The door to the laundry room I used the draft stopper on had a higher than usual clearance at the base. This did a very good job at reducing noise from the dryer. I have also noticed a significant difference in the temperature in the laundry room. So I believe the draft stopper is doing a lot for that aspect as well. I recently purchased the Holikme Twin Door Draft Stopper Weather Stripping Window Breeze Blocker Adjustable Door Sweeps, and let me tell you, it's a real game-changer. I used to have to deal with all sorts of pesky drafts and chilly breezes sneaking into my home, but now, thanks to this product, my house is as snug as a bug in a rug. But, let's be real here, this product isn't perfect. I mean, sure, it does what it's supposed to do, but it's not exactly the most aesthetically pleasing thing to look at. You have to assemble the product but that's easy enough. We have to strongly close the door to get it to latch, but the flexibility of the blocking strip makes that easy, too. There is a 99.7% 😁 reduction in the transfer of cold air into the house. I am very happy that I bought this.
