    • Works Great But Adhesive Strips Paint

The door draft stopper is effective but I would recommend not using the adhesive if you want to avoid stripping the paint. It works great even without the adhesive. I modified the device by cutting the black velcro and simply sliding the stopper under the door.

The velcro for it to stay under the door is only on one side, so it still slips around. Luckily, I had velcro strips that could stick to the film and on the door so it actually stays in place. Keeps the draft out nicely though. No noise cancellation at all. Easy to install. Quite noisy on tile floors. Decent product that needs a little work on the consumer's side to make it work well. Edit (4 years later): Changed my review from 4 to 5 stars. Although the stock Velcro issue was a concern, the Velcro I added has helped tremendously and I haven't needed to fix it since I did it originally. The pads don't droop as much anymore and no longer make any sound when I open the door. I'm surprised I even said anything about it, as I don't remember it occurring. Only looking through my old reviews for fun, made me realize that I should update this review. The noise cancellation is terrific, honestly. I can't hear much that's going on in the house unless it's people talking right outside my door. I really notice the difference between being in my room and the bathroom directly next door that doesn't have it. I hear everything in the bathroom, but nothing in my room. It has remained in really good shape over the years as well. None of the fabric is worn or frayed. It has successfully kept house pests out of the room. Since I only rent a single room in a boarding house, I'm the only one here with this product. The other tenants complain about pests getting in their rooms. I don't get them at all. I've told them about this product, but nobody ever listens to me. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. SMH. Hopefully you wonderful readers listen to me and take my advice, and buy this. Just get some sticky Velcro strips and you'll be fine. ... show more

I recently purchased the Holikme Twin Door Draft Stopper Weather Stripping Window Breeze Blocker Adjustable Door Sweeps, and let me tell you, it's a real game-changer. I used to have to deal with all sorts of pesky drafts and chilly breezes sneaking into my home, but now, thanks to this product, my house is as snug as a bug in a rug. But, let's be real here, this product isn't perfect. I mean, sure, it does what it's supposed to do, but it's not exactly the most aesthetically pleasing thing to look at. I mean, it's basically just a long black tube that you have to shove against your door. It's not exactly a work of art. And let's talk about the adjustable feature for a second. I mean, who are they kidding? This thing is about as adjustable as a brick. You can move it up or down a few inches, but that's about it.
