This thing is so cool, the reactions I’ve got from using it (especially at night with the blacklight on) is amazing. At first go it seems finicky but you get the hang of it quick (you don’t want to impede the momentum or have it touch the ceiling) but you can look like a pro after using it a short time. I gifted this to my nephew for his 7th birthday. He loves it! It works as described and comes with different colored strings. Simple to load and easy to use. Very quiet operation. The light feature makes the device extra fun for nighttime enjoyment. Keep in mind that the string will get tangled and sometimes knotted if the device is jerked quickly. Use only fluid motions and the string will respond nicely. If it does become tangled or knotted, open the head of the device and remove the string. Knots can be difficult to remove, and patience required, but so far, we've been able to remove knots as my nephew is learning to use it. The string is sturdy and not easily broken. I highly recommend this toy!

Some kind of bio illuminescent yarn that goes between two gears. There's a clicking sound from where it kind of tugs on the bottom almost like it needs a guide. I feel like the things still is in beta, maybe make the string shorter or something. Would be nice if I could rotate and use it sideways.

I am an educator and like engage students intelect with play. So I bought a Looplasso to use as a STEM demonstration. To explain forces and and basic physics in action. I have to say, i have the original version of the Lasso and this is a far superior product. It is smaller with a simpler switch function. The strings were better constructed to be a smoother run. Not to mention they gave me more string loops with the Nano than they did with the original. If I had any complaint with the device it is the string cover. The original unit used very basic round plates to cover the wheels and a small curved latch to hold the string from jumping off when you twisted it around. This made it VERY difficult to load properly and it would often jump off right away or tangle quickly. The Nano uses a full cover over both wheels. This makes it much easier to load, removing the cover is a bit hard to do. and since it is held on with pressure fit I am afraid that over time this will wear out the plastic on both the device and the cover. But despite the pressure fit cover. This unit rarely jams or tangles making it a MUCH more group friendly device to play with for demonstrations. Thank you for the improvements. This product is just another one of those social media scams that uses tons of advertising to show you how cool their new toy is, and taking advantage of the holiday buying season, but when you receive it (and I do mean WHEN) (and it actually works, the first one I received had motors that spun backwards!) you will quickly realize the tangled mess you just spent 30 bucks on is nothing more than cheap Chinese junk ...then you will spend hours in disbelief trying to figure out why it worked so well in all the videos they placed on TikTok and Instagram only to realize you have been duped again. GOD help you if this was a gift for a young child....their Parents will never speak to you again! P.S. If your lucky enough to get in touch with someone from their support team your in for a real treat. Happy Holidays!
