Before these arrived I tried every night light I already had in my hallway drawers to try to produce adequate lighting but the normal LED ones were so faint they had no effect (which is why I put them away in the first place). These night lights are very bright, We have one at our Cabin and it can be fairly dark, as we are in the mountains with lots of trees, so it stays on all the time. But worked good when my Sister & Bro in law came to visit for them to see to the bathroom. We have the other one at our AZ home and we get a lot of Sunlight during the day and the light stays on all the time. It's in the dining area and gets a lot of light, But it works fine as my Husband gets up throughout the night to get something to drink. All in all, they work great. ... show more

It's nice and small and looks nice in my stairway. My only complaint is that despite the area being well lit during the day, this nightlight never turns off. I mean never. It would be nice if it had a way to adjust the sensitivity if it's not able to detect my sufficient level of light. The "dusk/dawn sensor" needs some tweaking. Otherwise, very nice. I'd probably not buy this again and would look for an adjustable sensor or even an off switch. ... show more

This is way brighter and both the places I needed them are well lit.
