This is a pretty nice tool, with some caveats. To use it, turn on your vehicle and plug in the tool. It will scan your vehicle for standards that it can communicate with, and then provide you with the options available. I tried in on my 2012 Toyota Prius 5, and it seemed to work well. However, when I went to the web site listed in the manual to see if there are any updates, it appears to only be a façade. There isn't anything on the web site that is accessible. All of the pages are static, with no option to do anything or download anything. I then did a background check on the web site, and found that the domain was created on 02/26/2024, but the WHOIS data is incomplete/non-existent. This is why I only gave it 3 stars. It does work with my vehicle, but at the time of this review, there is no support, no updates, and the domain is less than 3 months old. If this should change, I'll post an update. UPDATE 05/22/2024: The seller contacted me stating that they hadn't updated the website with the latest code, so I went to the "updated" website. The only change that I could see is that it appears that they fixed the broken link on the "Download" tab. I was able to download a RAR file that contains an installer for an UpgradeTool. It didn't trigger a virus warning, so I installed it, and was prompted to enter OEM information. I am a software engineer, and it looks like this is a branded OEM device, but the company selling the device hasn't actually gone through the entire branding process. A lot of the information presented is in Chinese, so I am not able to read it. If you can find the actual manufacturer of the product, you might have a better experience than I have, but for now, I am going to leave my rating as it is. I'll try to remember to check back at the end of the year, to see if there are any changes. If nothing has changed, I will reduce my rating down to 1 star, as that would mean this is a product that should be avoided.

This diagnostic tester works fantastic. I can finally check my engine code to see why that pesky check engine light keeps coming on. This tool is super handy to have around when you are trying to troubleshoot your car. Mechanics are so expensive these days I've taken a more DIY course with my car lately and this thing works great. It is easy to use and easy to read. Overall I am very satisfied with it.
