I am very happy with this Tool. I have used it on 2 of my GM vehicles and it has worked well on both to diagnose my problems and clear the fault codes. It has a nice sized, bright and clear display that it is easy to see. I also like that it has its own storage case so it is protected when not in use.     • Useful Diagnostic Tool
This works on most cars newer than 2015. It can tell battery voltage, fuel level, type of fuel, error codes, and pretty much everything else. It can even tell if heated seats are on or if a hybrid car is using the hybrid battery or the engine. It worked on my hybrid Ford truck and Nissan sedan but it could not find cleared error codes. I was able to find out I had a bad catalytic converter and temperature sensor on my truck, and it found no errors on the other vehicle. It did not work on my mercedes SUV, which required a passcode I did not have access to. For the price, this is an incredible purchase for anyone with beat up cars, project cars, or even a newer car with unknown issues. I'm an older seasoned automotive technician, I'm reviewing this product based on my many years of experience in the field using high quality tools and equipment. This small hand held OBD2 scanner is basically a code reader, it will clear trouble codes, and will give a basic information through live data stream. Can be used on any OBD 2 protocol based vehicle. Scanner is physically small in size, scanner does have a basic diagnostic library, scanner uses simple prompts to direct user in the operation of the scanner. Diagnostic cord is much to short to be considered user friendly. Unit is lightweight and the quality is somewhat questionable. The digital screen is relatively small and needs to be larger, screen is barely readable, instruction manual is included, unfortunately the print is somewhat small and hard to read. Scanner does come with a high quality plastic storage case that uses pinned hinges to protect the scanner while being stored. Price point is considered reasonable for this item. ... show more

This is a pretty standard code reader. It will read the codes off the car and provide some information about the battery. There is a nice feature to assist with looking up the codes. This provides little information about any live data. The case is pretty solid and should withstand a few drops. Screen is bright and large enough to easily read. This is SO nice! Works super well and goes in depth. Also has the read while running feature which is super nice. Easy to use & understand and the little storage case was a nice surprise!

This little device is so easy to use and plug into your car. I’m no mechanic but googling the codes worked easy enough for me. Comes in a nice little storage case too.

This scanner is great and comes with all the features that one should have in 2024. It's easy to set up and get readings while the engine is running and gives great diagnostics. Would easily recommend for anyone who does their own work.
