    • All around good product. Does the job
Works great. Shreds in really small pieces.

    • I recommend this shredder!
I love this shredder! It’s perfect for my home office, rests right by my chair, on the floor, convenient to shred a few pages at a time as the need arises. No chance to cumulate big junk file folders anymore. I like its compact size, its noise level is acceptable, shredding mechanism works well! A good quality sturdy shredder! ... show more

    • Efficient, Quiet, and Easy to Use
Review Image by Jessica
I just received this Locksworth 8-sheet micro-cut shredder and tested it out, and I’m really pleased with it. It runs smoothly and much quieter than I expected, which makes it easy to use at home without being disruptive. It shredded my papers quickly into tiny pieces, giving me peace of mind about security. What I also like is how simple it is to use—the controls are straightforward, and the user’s manual gives clear instructions. The 4-gallon bin holds a good amount and is easy to empty, and the shredder itself doesn’t take up much space. Overall, it feels efficient, reliable, and perfect for home or small office use. ... show more

    • It worked fine but only lasted 6 months, despite light and infrequent use.
I ordered this shredder at the end of Feb 2026 and received it at the beginning of March. I’ve used it once or twice a month over the 6 months I’ve had it. I experienced one minor jam very early on, which was quickly and easily resolved. I then continued to use it with additional caution and ran into no additional jams or other troubles…until today. I used it as I normally do until it jammed and quickly began smoking. I don’t recommend this shredder. I hope to replace it with a different brand that will last longer. ... show more

    • Nice paper shredder for home use
Have had this for a little over a week. It says it will take 8 sheets of paper at a, but 4-5 is the most we've used. At 6 sheets it start to slow down considerable and I'm afraid it might get jammed. Since we only use this for our home office it is better than the one it replaced. Very easy to use and I believe it should hold up well for what we use it for. ... show more

Shreds paper very small. I have had no jams even when putting a letter still in the envelope and folder, in machine. Works well. Was definitely worth the price.

    • Love it!
Love, love, love! If you want a shredder that literally makes confetti with one run through, this is it! It shreds great. 8 pages at a time. Weight is light but the top comes off and the shredded paper is in the container. Great capacity. Well worth the cost. The only thing that’s a little strange is, you must pull the motor portion (the top) off to empty. But, no paper falls on the floor and holds a great amount for a home use. ... show more
