I love this shredder. I traded up from a manual one that was very loud. It is so nice to be able to put so many sheets in at once and it is way quieter than my previous one. It is a little larger than I expected but that is on me for not really paying attention to the dimensions. I am also used to a smaller, less efficient model. I appreciate the rollers as it makes it easy to adjust where I need it to be. The bin is larger so it can be a little awkward dumping the shredding but once again that is to be expected. I have only been using it for a few weeks so I will see how it goes regarding my opinion of it being worth the cost but for now I am satisfied. ... show more

After reading all instructions, on the first test of the auto-feed feature, it does not feed any paper nor does it shred the stacked paper. The manual shred feature works fine. I bought this primarily for the auto-feed feature. On day one, it is a great frustration and disappointment, especially considering the cost. The company only has an email address, no phone number, and no customer service link on the website. It is day two now, and still no response from their customer service email address. This is a basic, yet reliable paper shredder. No complaints here. I always go with Micro cut, since anything smaller always costs way more. I haven't had any issues with heat, but you could absolutely feel SOMETHING if you're doing a lot of shredding.
