NICE…..and EASY Fit my new 2025 CrossTrek Sport beautifully. Nice, aluminum crossbars. I’m 64 and installed these in approximately 20-25 minutes. I could have completed the install quicker if the Allen wrench that was provided by manufacturer was a bit shorter in order to tighten the screws underneath the crossbars. (Kept hitting the roof rack) But no BIG deal, just dug around the garage and used hubbys ratchet and Allen socket… easy Peezy. They are firmly mounted. I have no wiggles or rattles. Not that I plan to ever remove them. But because of the long Allen wrench provided by the manufacturer I don’t think it would be a quick job, if you were in a big hurry, but it wouldn’t be too hard. I personally didn’t need locks on the cross bars, but I liked these and the reviews so I guess it’s an added plus? I did go ahead and shoot a spritz of lubricant inside the locks for added weather protection as I not sure if the locks are also aluminum or if they may rust. Overall, for the price, I think these are phenomenal. I’m not one who needs to have big name brands. Especially when you can get an item that is just as good and works just as well for a lot less. This certainly appears to be a solid product and I have no reason to believe it won’t last for sometime very pleased.

The fit and finish is really good. The end caps fit well. The only issue is there is a bit of wind noise from the crossbars.

Rack installation was different from my other Subaru Forester but pretty straight forward. I was surprised how much bolt had to be let out to fit the clamp over the rail but there was enough. The instruction had a 4-6 N-m torque check to prevent stripping the clamp bolts. I have a small torque wrench used to check it. For those without one, that's pretty tight without reefing on it. Note the end covers are side specific and are marked "R" and "L" in tiny print.

Good price, seemingly well made, and a whole lot cheaper than Subaru's crossbars! But FIGURE IT OUT BEFORE YOU INSTALL!!! There are several good reviews on how to properly adjust the length of the crossbars BEFORE you mount them to the rails. You cannot easily adjust the length when on the car. You need to loosen the screws, place the bar on the rails, make some pencil marks, take off from the rails, and then tighten the screws while off the car. Once this was figured out, it was a breeze to install. Be sure to put a couple of towels or blanket on roof when installing to prevent roof-scratching. The bar length did not initially fit my '24 Crosstrek; they had to be adjusted. From start to fully installed it took about 30 minutes. Now that the bars are adjusted, it takes 5 mins. to remove the bars or to put them in place. It's been money well spent.

Good quality for the price, comes with a key to lock it. It does make noise when you driver over about 30 ish miles an hour which can be annoying. Eventually you tune it out and it doesn't bother you, but it is annoying at first and you have to get used to it.
