Okay so I bit the bullet and got what I swore that I never would...a cosmetics fridge. After a TON of window shopping, I settled on this one because of both price point and aesthetics. First let's get the cons out of the way: I ordered the stone white, which is more of a light beige color. With that said, it functions exceptionally well. I can't believe how cold the inside gets! Way better than the last mini fridge I returned -whose name I will not mention but starts with an F. This one, on the other hand, would be perfect for a mini fridge as far as keeping things cool goes except for the fact that it's way too small. Don't let the stock image of the canned sodas and fruit inside of one of these fool you. That would NEVER fit inside this fridge. What will fit are a few night creams, eye creams, etc. It has a light hum to it, but it's not too loud IMO. Overall very happy with my purchase. Will it last? Only time will tell. ... show more

I'm using this to keep some soda cans cool in my office (rather than for cosmetics) and it works quite well for that. I also have the mini Frigidaire of the size so will point out the similarities and differences of that as well - Similar to Frigidaire model Positives - Both hold up to six cans - 4 standing and 2 more lying down on the removable top rack. They chills them well and keep them cold, so works as intended. They're compact. Interiors are virtually identical (I assume they might purchase the core unit from the same place and just package them). Imperfections - Both get a little water buildup in the interior - not much but a little puddle starts to build over time. They both have a minor fan hum - not too bad but noticeable in a quite space. Differences - Design - The exterior designs are nice on both - I look the cool throwback look of the Frigidaire a little better personally but this unit is more sleek. Pro of this unit - it has a small removable drain to catch built up water condensation. It hasn't gotten to the point of water reaching it yet but helpful in case Pro of Frigidaire - slightly less expensive as of this writing. I am in love with this lovely little mini fridge! Not only is it beautiful and aesthetic but it works! I have been looking for a little mini fridge to store some of my skincare items since certain formulations can be kept longer if stored in a cool environment. This does the trick and looks cute while doing it. You simply plug the fridge into the wall and it starts cooling, and it take a few hours to fully chill. The temp is quite cool, perfect for skincare since you don't want it freezing cold either- I'm not sure what the exact temperature it gets down to, but it seems a bit warmer than a fridge in my opinion. The design is really nice, it's quite small and lightweight- I love the black color with the leather strap on top, it just adds a nice touch since this is sitting out on a counter. Overall, very pleased with this little fridge, I'd definitely recommend it! ... show more

When I opened this lil skincare fridge I didn't expect too much from it. It is just a small, very lightweight lil thing. Made of plastic. Doesn't seem much better than a kids toy. So, I get it out and plug it in and pop 2 cans of soda in it before I went to bed. In the morning when I got up and checked, the soda cans were ice cold. About early afternoon I decided to have one of those 2 sodas and was completely shocked how cold it was. It seemed like just a few more degrees colder it would have started to freeze/slush. Shocked at the efficiency of this lil thing, I tell you. The fan does make a very slight amount of noise, but nothing that is bothersome or loud. More like hearing the fan on your laptop kick on and I've had some of those that were louder than this fridge, so, it really is no issue at all. You can turn it off and on as needed and it doesn't seem too take too long for it to get cold. The instructions do say that the temp of the room will impact how well it cools. So if you have it in a super hot area it may not cool as well, but in typical room temperature areas it seems to perform surprisingly well. I must say I'm more impressed with this fridge than I expected to be. The pics are a little misleading in regards to size and capacity and to get 6 soda cans in there is really pushing it and jamming them in there with no excess space to be found. The little pocket on the door is good for packs of eye masks and such or even store some face rollers in there. I wanted this to keep my reusable ice packs in for when I get headaches, for some gel eye masks, and maybe a drink or two to have on hand in the bedroom. For me, this lil thing works out perfect so far. If that changes, if it dies on me, or something goes wrong with it I will be back to update, but so far so good. ... show more
