It's oddly satisfying to handle certain fidget gadgets. I never could see the fascination with the push pop bubble ones, but this one is unique and new to me. I thought I would try it. The pieces are sturdy and well made. They're not going to break easily. You would need to really slam them hard against something to cause any damage. They have strong metal magnetic backs. They have acrylic fronts over the sand display. I would imagine that it would get scratched up eventually if they were rubbed against sharp edged objects constantly, like in a messy drawer or purse. But those are only extreme possibilities. The first thing that attracted me to it was the sand glitter liquid display. This in itself is calming. It's very pretty as it flows from top to bottom. However, I do wish that the background was a lighter color, or that the sand was a lighter color against the black background so I could see it better. The size was just a tad too big for my hands at first, (I have small hands) but with practice it got a lot easier to maneuver. The magnets are strong and I actually pinched my skin a few times in between them while I twisted them around. Especially when I used my nondominant left hand. You could also use these magnets on your fridge or other flat metal surface to hold notes, etc. if you wanted to. (in-between playing with them). Sliding them together makes the crinkly sound. Depending on your current mindset, it can be calming or it can be irritating. (at least to me) It is a rather loud sound if you are in a quiet space, so it's not something you can use in a classroom, at a meeting or even in shared office or home space. The package carrying case can also be used as a display case. It is a plastic hinged frame with what I would describe as very thick Saran Wrap in between, so it molds itself around the object and prevents it from moving when you close it. I had never thought of using this type of packaging as such, but that is how it is advertised in the listing. In the past I have received jewelry in this type of packaging. I never thought of using it to display small items before. Clever advertising. LOL. The price seems about average for this type of fidget toy. Overall, it's a nice, unique fidget slider. It works really well. The falling sand display is pretty as well as calming. Great for using when you are alone due to the noise it makes. I recommend it.

Now, this isn't the kind of toy that is supposed to keep you entertained out of boredom. It simply just to keep your hands busy in idle moments. I love to use this fidget when waiting in line, shopping, just sitting in the car, sitting at a red light, going on walks, etc.. It is a simple fidget. It has two flat metal halves with magnets in them. They have a haptic feedback that makes a clicking noise when you slide them back and forth. You can slide them up and down, side to side, and have it fall along the edges. I have many sliders like this one and it only has a couple of issues. The magnets are too close to the edges so they fall apart easier than others when pushing them all the way to the upper and lower edges. The other issue is that the plastic covers scratch easily and it won't be long before the beautiful glitter sand aesthetic wears off. Other than that the quality is great and the metal sections feel durable. The magnets are just strong enough. The price is pretty good too. Makes a great gift for fidget lovers.

This little fidget slider is surprisingly satisfying to use. The metal body feels solid and well made, and the magnetic slide has a really smooth, satisfying click when you move it. It’s the kind of thing you pick up for a minute and end up playing with way longer than expected. The liquid sand design is really cool too. When you tilt it, the blue and gold glitter flows slowly and creates a relaxing, almost galaxy-like effect. It makes it more interesting than a regular fidget toy and gives you something visual to watch while you’re sliding it. It’s small enough to keep on a desk or in a pocket, and it’s great for keeping your hands busy while working, studying, or just relaxing. For the price, it feels high quality and definitely worth it. A fun little gadget and a great gift idea for teens or adults who like fidget toys.

This is a cool little fidget toy, it's priced right for what it is, so that is a plus. The bottom side is metal, and the top side is some sort of plastic/acrylic that you can see the glitter through. I took one star off because I wish the top was made of a more durable substance, and also because there is no stop or groove on the metal sides so while playing with this dropping one of them is pretty common, they'll just slide apart. The magnets have good resistance in them, but without some sort of stop or groove it's easy to slide them apart and drop one. It's not very nice when you drop it on your foot. That being said, they are nice and I've had no issues with the top piece breaking. It just doesn't feel as satisfying as it would if it were metal on top, just my opinion.
