I know it's not wise to use a clarifying shampoo on your hair every wash - I believe the average person should probably only use it once or twice a month, depending on how much product you use and how oily your hair is. But when I do use this shampoo I love the feeling, during and after. It almost tingles on your scalp letting you know it's working, and when I take my hair out of the towel it is actually squeaky clean. Of course that's the time I add leave in conditioner or argan oil, but I love the feeling of knowing my hair and scalp have gotten a deep cleaning every few washes. ... show more

If you use a lot of hair products when styling your hair this product will strip off those products. I used it on my thin hair and it left it a bit stiff and without bounce. For my hair I would use it every month or so but if you have oily hair or use a lot of hair products it would be used more often.
