A long time ago, I discovered that if I pop two of these on an empty stomach right before bed, the result is vivid dreams with full recollection upon awakening about 9 out of 10 times. Strange side effect, but very reliable in my case. Without taking lions mane prior to sleep, my dream recall is about once or twice out of 30 nights. I can't speak to the daytime effects on recall/memory, but I enjoy the strange, vivid dreams so I continue to take these at night (I am aware that most people take them in the morning, with food). I wonder if anyone else experiences this side effect. When I run out of these capsules, the dream recall stops and sleep becomes boring again.

I'm a person who can sit in one spot working, so this give me the extra focus I need. I've only been taking it for a few days and I usually drink coffee (my gym pre work out) when I take them. One thing I love is that it reduces my appetite and I have to remind myself to eat. I have no problem falling asleep when I'm ready even though I don't feel tired after a long day. It's so easy.. after well normal snoozing... to get up in the morning. I keep this next to my instant coffee spot.

I tried this for a little over a month. It definitely gave me energy but it also gave me headaches, mental exhaustion, and I was only taking 2 capsules in the morning. However, I was also taking magnesium l-threonate which also helps with brain health so maybe taking both together was too much for me. I'm not sure. Although, when I took a break on it my headaches and my mental exhaustion went away. I was really hoping this would work well for me.

I use this everyday for my memory issues it works great... The time frame to which it works great is say 7:30 to 3-3:30 after that I go back to having a hard time recalling things after being told 5 mins ago. It is not a fix for dementia but it helps me with my everyday forgetfulness!!!
