Ordered the 4 pack. Received 1 chair. Customer service said "keep it, we'll send you a replacement 4 pack". They sent me 1 chair again. Now customer service wants me to return the 1, but the "promise" I'll get a refund for 4. And then purchase a 4 pack again. Want to take bets on what will happen? The chair is fine, we purchased one from Target (who can actually keep their inventory straight) and it's nice. Looks great in our kitchen. The sling back is not super comfortable but ok for a pretty cheep bar stool. But Amazon does NOT have it together in the bulk/heavy item department. ... show more

They’re beautiful, but the back wasn’t straight before assembly so they rocked when assembled. When seated, the back isn’t useful as a back rest as it just digs in mid-back for adults.

After searching for literally a whole year for the perfect bar stools I came across these and they were the perfect color of wood and fabric to match my kitchen/dinning area. The seat cushion is extra thick for a comfortable feel and the fabric is great quality. Took about 15 minutes to build them both and they are very sturdy in my opinion. Since moving into our home a few years ago we haven’t utilized this bar counter and finally we decided we needed tall chairs to make this space useable. These are the perfect height and come in so many great color combinations! The chair is sturdy and was super easy to put together. It’s not a lounging chair as the back is a (strong) piece of fabric and the padding is firm but I love the look of these and the way the fit in our space. Also helps they aren’t too comfy so your guests won’t overstay their welcome. As seen in the photo, my 6 year old uses it easily and enjoys getting to watch me in the kitchen. ... show more

I loved these counter stools when I saw them online. Perfect color with such a versatile design. I ordered two. The parts arrived packed EXTREMELY well, quite impressive. Instructions were straight forward and well written. As we began assembling we realized there were several issues. First, despite the great packaging the legs had defects and with chipped/dinges. The biggest problem was the inability to screw the provided screws Into the pre-drilled holes in Part D(leg). When we opened the second box, same issue with Part D was encountered. I ordered a third one and low and behold the same problem. I called the manufacturer, Nathan James (as was suggested in the instructions) after realizing the issue with the first stool but they made it an “act of congress” and they said it would be 7-10 business days after they receive copies of my receipt and pictures for me to receive replacement parts. I was not willing to wait that long and then only to run the risk of the same issue. As a prime customer, it was much easier to just return the stools. Disappointing, as I really did like the pictures of the stools on line. The seat cushion was nice as was the fabric. ... show more
