It is made of wood. Instructions not very clear and seller help is not available. But Amazon help makes up for the lack of seller help. One metal leg was defective and since I had the whole bed put together, I didn't want to take it apart and send it back. The metal leg is specifically made for this made and can't be replaced with something from local stores. Amazon shipped me another complete bed and I took just the leg I needed and completed my installation. The bed is made solid and it's wood. It's simple in look and very functional. We love it.

I originally ordered two bed frames: one full and one queen. We assembled the full with no problems but as we were finishing assembling the queen, we noticed there were 2 of the same pieces (#9), instead of a #8 and #9. At first I called the company, Linsy, but was unable to get through so I called Amazon and explained the situation. All I wanted was a replacement part but Amazon said they would replace the entire bed frame. At first the offer was very appealing, however it would take over a week to receive it. Unfortunately, I was moving my elderly parents into a new home in a couple days so the week time frame was not conducive. In lieu of my situation, they refunded me the full amount. In the meantime, I reached back out to Linsy and explained the situation yet again in hopes of receiving a replacement part. A representative responded to me within 24 hours asking for pics of the duplicate parts. Within 2 days, I received a brand new queen bed frame. I was extremely pleased with the support I received and the efforts made from both Linsy and Amazon. We are all very satisfied and love the new beds. Thank you all for your attention in this matter.

I have now been sleeping on this bed frame for two months. It is the worst - don't buy it. It squeaks, the boxes were really heavy, and it was tough to put together. Further, two bolts broke during assembly. Amazon offered to ship me an entire new bed frame, or a refund. I only needed two bolts, not a new frame or a full refund. So I reached out directly to the seller. They replied they would send the parts but never did. I reached out to them three times. This bed frame is rickety and fragile. Keep scrolling. You can do better.

It was simple to assemble, came with everything needed to assemble, including a cute little hammer, and had extra plastic pieces for holding the slats in place. It absolutely does not squeak or move on carpeting, but might move on hard surfaces. The mattress does tend to sink into the outside slats, something that could be remedied with a thin piece of cardboard or a heavy dust ruffle, and the corners do extend beyond the edge of the mattress but I haven't run into it. There is plenty of storage underneath. I recommend it. For reference, we are medium weight people and use it 5 nights a week.

Much sturdier! We had gotten a cheaper bed frame from a Duffy company where the support bars under the mattress were a little to short and could come out of the grooves and allow the mattress to sink. This bed is much more solid/higher quality and was easily assembled by my husband. Note not a lot of space under the bed so if that’s what you want get raisers or look at another model
