I have a small guest room that doubles as my office and crafting space, so I wanted something small. This IS small. It was very easy to assemble in less than 10 minutes. The color is also perfect. The fabric is very soft and overall I feel like this is a sturdy piece however not comfortable. I wouldn't sleep on it but my cat loves it! The cushions are quite thin however they have zippered covers so I'll probably add some extra padding. The zippered covers are also a bonus for cleaning. This is a good piece for the low price. Just what we needed for my office! I wanted to have a bed for my office to use as a guest room when needed but I didn't want a large bed taking up a bunch of room. This was perfect. It functions great as a loveseat and then if needed for a bed it is a simple fold down. It is on the smaller end for a bed and the fabric isn't the nicest for sleeping on but you could always use linens. ... show more

I'm impressed with this Futon style chair. It's perfect for a smaller space guest bedroom. I mean I wouldn't want to sleep on it for more than a few nights in a row but for that type of use, it's really quite good. Love that the cushion is velcro-ed on so that you can remove it to clean it or air & fluff it out. The listing does recommend a mattress topper for sleeping and I feel that would really enhance the sleep experience and extend it's sleepability if you're having someone stay over longer than just a few nights. This may become a challenge if you're also using this item as a couch when not needed for sleeping. Where do you then store the mattress topper? Just something to consider. The fabric is very nice and well sewn - but as it is corduroy it does an excellent job of catching and clinging to dog hair. This futon sofa is just....okay. My husband assembled it rather quickly, so it's easy to put together. Pretty much just screw in four legs, use screws for the other two legs, there's a velcro cover to peel off, and then plop the cushions down in place. It took probably a total of 15 minutes. The cushions look fluffier amd thicker in the online photos. They're quite thin and this futon is not the comfiest to sit on. It'll do for our spare room for the kids to play video games on, but if this was our primary seating, I wouldn't keep it. ... show more
