So it is perfect for what I needed it for. First it is very sturdy. I would feel very comfortable with my husband sitting on it, though it's not what it is intended for. The legs are solid wood and has rubber padding as to not scratch my flood. Took me longer to get it out of the box then to install the legs. It is very well packaged for shipping. I have been looking for something compact, attractive, and matches my decor that I can place my decorative bedding at night. It fits my bed sham pillows inside perfectly and my comforter on top and extra blanket. I hate placing all this on my antique rocker and every morning my comforter would somehow land on the floor. It looks high end and well made. The only issue I have is at the end of one area of stitching it was not knotted but it was something I could sew on my own and finish. As for others who complained about the crisscross stitching it honestly is not that noticeable, clearly part of the design of the peace so not structural to the fabric and can be removed pulled, if you know how, easily without damaging the fabric. Personally, I think it is a feature that makes it look more high end, though not very noticed, I will be leaving it as is. I am so happy I bought this!!

Love this ottoman! Didn't realize how big it was going to be. It does stand taller than my couch but just by an inch. It's soft and sturdy. Even used it today to stand on. Bought it as a gift for kittys to lay on and they love it. Also love that it opens for storage. I will say my nail heads are silver and there is one small chunk missing but that's minute. Love this piece!

It's prettier than I thought it would be. It was soo easy to put on the feet (took 5 min from unpacking till assembly). The base doesn't seem strong to keep books or anything heavy... but it is great for kid's toy, pillows, blanket. Also the fabric on the top lid is odd. I was expecting it to be seamless but there is a X like seam (see the pic) centered on the lid. The images don't align across the seams on the top. So if that bothers someone, it may not be a good purchase.

More beautiful than I imagined. Legs were easy to screw on, with two added screws for each leg for added support. It is serving its purpose. I got it specially for my fur baby SNIFFLES, so he could lounge and look outdoors. He loves it. Fabic had no foul odor, but just to play it safe, Before bringing it inside, I did spray the entire ottoman (including inside the storage container) with Lysol, let it dry overnight in the garage. Next day, I sprayed with a fabric FABRIC REFRESHER spray. I highly recommend it for any room in the house.

This was specifically purchased to help store items for my brother's kids when they visit, to use as a foot stool or sitting bench, and decor for the apartment. My mother and I actually used fabric markers and added different blues to it to make it more personal and match. We love it! It was so easy to put together. It isn't that heavy to move. It offers a decent amount of store space for crafts, toys, projects, etc. You could even store shoes if you wanted to. It comes up to the same height as our new loveseat. It is sturdy and doesn't wobble even on carpet. It doesn't have a horrible chemical smell. I would recommend and purchase again.

I couldn’t be more happy with this purchase! I thought at the sale price I was getting this ottoman for, it probably would be low quality and not look as good as the photo... I’m happy to have been wrong! I love it! It’s beautifully crafted with dark wood legs that fit perfectly and the ottoman, to my delight, is solidly built even with my butt sitting on it! Although, I see the price of this piece has increased substantially I would pay more for it within reason.

This is such a lovely piece of furniture, I am so happy with the versatility of it. I am currently using it as a coffee table, just put a tray on it and it holds my coffee in the morning and my wine glass in the evening. I like the store function as i can keep extra throws and sofa cover in it. It was so easy to assemble my 70 year old mom had put it together by the time I got home.

This is a great ottoman for extra storage. It's deep enough to hold linens in the bedroom and stylish enough for people to see it as a decorative accent to any room in the house. The only thing you have to do is screw on the feet. Simple. The only wish is that it was longer. Would buy it again in a second if there was a longer version available.
