My hairdresser recommended this, as a lot of people in her profession swear by it to calm their skin that's exposed to a lot of dyes and chemicals. Sure enough, it doesn't irritate my skin. It is rich and nourishing and has made a huge difference in the appearance of my skin. I even use it on my forehead and I swear it got rid of the dreaded "11s".
