I switched internet providers and haven't looked back. I always liked Linksys products over the years and this little guy doesn't disappoint. I setup different sub networks on the three different bands it provides. One for the Oculuses, one for the streaming devices, and one for all the smart tech throughout the house. I feel like my speed is helped along and the distance it covers is decent as well. I only have a 1200 sq ft house, but the router is in the front corner of it, and I am still getting my full internet speed via wifi in the other corner. My main gripe with this device is the setup. I get it, they had to make it for the common person who has never setup a network before, but those of us who remember the good ole days of the purple Linksys routers, we know how to manipulate and setup our equipment without having an app hold our hands. Once you are done with the app, you can go in and manipulate some of the settings as you see fit. But ever since setting it up, it has had zero issues and appears to be running strong. ... show more

It is an okay router but it was a pain to setup as a Wireless Access Point only. The speeds are pretty good nearby but drop off quickly as you move away. Overall it is an okay router for the price but a lot of basic settings are locked away. For my complex use cases I would recommend staying away. Additionally, there is no option to set the device up using only wifi you must download their app. Fortunately no accounts are required though. ... show more

I was having random connection issues with some older Linksys EA series products; one router was the main device in my living room and the other one was configured in "Bridge Mode" and acting as a wired switch/range extender in my office. After some research I decided to give the Linksys Intelligent Mesh products a try. I purchased a "renewed" MR7350 along with a "renewed" MR6350 to create a 2-node mesh setup in my house. Setup was a breeze using the Linksys app and everything was plug-n-play. I setup the MR7350 as the master node and assigned it the prior network credentials. I powered up the MR6350 and plugged in the ethernet cable and the app automatically configured this device as a node. So far the mesh setup has been working flawlessly and my previous connection issues are gone. ... show more

This router came with plastic wrap, and looked like someone returned it without using it. Probably had trouble setting it up, as I did using the phone app with Bluetooth. It connected but the router wouldn't talk to the modem. I had to set it up another way using WiFi directly from my laptop with the router password on the sticky on the bottom of the router. Once set up I tested the speeds and range. With Spectrum 200Mps cable, I'm getting 300+mps download speeds downstairs in my 1400sf townhouse where the router is, and upstairs getting about 200mps download speeds. Bought a renewed unit and while it looked brand new, I'm not sure if it was the source of setup and performance issues. Most wifi routers should be easy to setup. This one requires(?) the use of a mobile app and bluetooth. After trying and failing to use the app, the instructions finally directed user to do a hard reset with the button in the back. The app finally saw the router and began setup. Great. Created a new a wifi network and then joined it via the phone. It works. The the wifi connection drops. Reconnected. Went to connect other devices. Password prompt, cannot join. Checked mobile phone, wifi signal disconnected. Nope. This router is more trouble than its worth and wasted almost 2 hours (Maybe because it is renewed?). Anyway did the Amazon return. My Linksys EA9200 will continue its reliable fourth year of operation. ... show more
