Great affordable router
Linksys E8450 AX3200. Write a five star review for this product View other drafts 5-star review for Linksys E8450 AX3200 router I've been using the Linksys E8450 AX3200 router for over a year now, and I've been extremely happy with it. It's been a reliable performer, and it's provided me with fast and consistent Wi-Fi throughout my home. One of the things I love most about the E8450 is its speed. It's rated for speeds up to 3.2 Gbps, and I've been able to achieve close to those speeds in real-world testing. This means that I can stream 4K video, play online games, and download large files without any lag or buffering. Another great thing about the E8450 is its range. It's able to cover my entire 2,500 square foot home with Wi-Fi, and I've never had any problems with signal strength. Even when I'm in the farthest corner of my house, I'm still able to get a strong Wi-Fi signal. The E8450 is also very easy to set up and use. I was able to get it up and running in just a few minutes, and the Linksys app makes it easy to manage my network and devices. Overall, I'm very happy with the Linksys E8450 AX3200 router. It's a fast, reliable, and easy-to-use router that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new router. Here are some of the specific things I love about the E8450: Fast speeds: I've been able to achieve close to the advertised speeds of 3.2 Gbps in real-world testing. Great range: The E8450 is able to cover my entire 2,500 square foot home with Wi-Fi, and I've never had any problems with signal strength. Easy to set up and use: I was able to get the E8450 up and running in just a few minutes, and the Linksys app makes it easy to manage my network and devices. Reliable performance: The E8450 has been a reliable performer for me over the past year. I've never had any problems with it dropping my connection or becoming unresponsive. If you're looking for a new router, I highly recommend the Linksys E8450 AX3200. It's a great all-around router that offers fast speeds, great range, and easy setup and use.

A superb replacement for the Router originally provided by Spectrum Cable/Internet Services
As a matter of background information, the original model router that I received from Spectrum when I first subscribed to their service, was a very powerful 5G model. But after 4 years, I began getting dropouts and other issues with my streaming capabilities. We don't do cable TV, rather we do streaming via various ROKU sticks or boxes. Since all of my ROKU devices are connected via WiFi, it is essential that the signals stay strong for quality streaming. After the first router began malfunctioning, Spectrum provided another new router. Unfortunately, that was a weaker model and we began experiencing issues there also. That's when I decided to invest in a relatively inexpensive, yet superbly operating modem. After doing my homework and finding out that many review sites recommend the Linksys E8450 AX3200 WiFi 6 Router, especially for Spectrum, I purchased one - and it arrived the same day (talk about awesome). Hookup was quite easy actually - but just to be safe, I also called Spectrum Tech Support to inquire if there was anything else I needed to do. They replied that unlike a modem, which requires certification on their end, routers are technically no big deal and one can use any router. Setup was easy - after connecting the new Linksys E8450 AX3200 WiFi 6 Router to my modem, I then rebooted and reset the modem. After coming back on line, the modem easily saw and communicated with the Router. As part of the instructions, they also give you an address to type in your browser, which takes you to your router settings. Now here is where it gets nice. The first time you go to this router settings page, you are asked to provide your own settings - meaning name of device and the password you wish to use. So what I did was to use the same ID and password that I had for my previous router so I would not have to redo all the devices I own that use my WiFi - it was a cinch! But you do have to use a combination of caps, small letters, numbers, and symbols for the password. If your previous passwords (that you'd still like to use) don't have this combo, you'll have to change them to meet the Linksys requirements. Of course, then you have to redo the login on all the devices you use to connect to your WiFi. After connecting everything, everything worked superbly. My download speeds were fantastic (well, fantastic for me). I have the 500 Meg download service with Spectrum, yet with this Linksys E8450 AX3200 WiFi 6 Router, I am getting download speeds of 590 Megs per second and 25 Megs upload speeds - which is better than the service I'm paying for. Great job Linksys. Now obviously, this is a new router, and all I can report upon is what I'm experiencing now. Will check back in within 6 months or so to add more comments if things change. In closing, I tend to chuckle at those reviews where the reviewer states he/she had a hard time connecting, or setup was too complicated. That's because they are usually not literate when it comes to setting up anything with a computer - and it's not a Linksys issue. I'm no computer scientist, and everything connected perfectly and I had no issues.

Great for end users. easy to setup. Not as flexible as an expert may need.
My only problem with this device is that it doesn't allow the LAN side interface enough flexibility to configure it from an expert perspective. In replacing my old device, the LAN side interface was 10.222.0.0/16. This new device only allows /24 or greater for the SNM. This required me to reconfigure the entire IP infrastructure (Microsoft domain, servers IPs, DHCP, DNS, etc.) from 10 net to 192.168.10.0/24. This dropped the number of available hosts from 64K to 254. That may seem like a lot until you think about streaming TVs, 12 Alexa (Dots/Echos), Ring cameras, wireless light bulbs and switches, mesh WiFi routers, Fire Sticks and TVs, laptops, phones, and visitors. We're a very connected family, and we may end up with issues given this restriction.

Affordable, excellent 1Gb WiFi 6 Router
I have bought Linksys product in the past because of easy setup. I switched to Fiber internet and did not want to rent a router. Linksys AX1800, model E7350 is an excellent, affordable router with easy setup and security; may setup separate dual band networks too. I would give 5 stars if this model included iCloud and/or Linksys App management. You must manage router with IP address. Linksys AX1800 router is performing well with all my home and computer devices without a WiFi range issue.

10ft Ethernet Cables
Needed two ethernet cables, 10ft each, to locate my Linksys Router away from other "signal absorbing" devices. Now, the Router is located about 5 ft above any such devices. Works perfectly!
