Started making noise after a couple of months. Thought it was static. Took it out and reinstalled it. No fix. Have done it 4 or 5 times now. No fix. Now it has started turning on and off. Have reached out to the seller, and Linkswell with no response. Loved it when it worked, now not so much.

A new radio reduced clutter on my dashboard. The vertical screen allowed for better viewing than the previous radio. Climate controls were moved to the bottom of the touch screen, and the screen worked very well with touch input. The camera feed and the larger screen made it easier for me to see where I was going when backing into tight spaces in my driveway. Maps moved smoothly and did not have the lag that I experienced with other aftermarket navigation systems. I adjusted the output of the audio and kept the navigation visible on the top half of the screen. The system was able to multitask without any lag, keeping the interface very fast and snappy during my drives!

This is visually great screen replacement for my 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT truck, it really changes the truck interior look. My OEM screen was dying and a local audio shop recommended this display/head unit. I also had to purchase an additional adapter to make it compatible with my Bose stereo. The biggest problem I have to say about this product is that it is NOT compatible with Onstar like the OEM unit was. Luckily I can live without the Onstar service. I had it professionally installed because the installation looked like more than I wanted to try to tackle. I do wish the screen was brighter during daylight especially when I am wearing sunglasses. It is a little slow to boot up and connect to my iPhone when you first start the vehicle but overall I am satisfied and would recommend this unit.

I have had this for almost a year now; I've been dealing with it since the price was so high. Apple carplay is slow, and it takes 2 minutes to connect wirelessly or wired. I tried multiple different chords. Expensive ones come directly from Apple to Anker ones on Amazon. All perform the same. The audio constantly mutes and or cuts out randomly. It has a very old-style look to the interface, a very 15-year-old style. Customizations are built in, but core functions are basic and slow. The back end is an older Android tablet hardware. Apple car play nowadays is a basic function. It's not worth the price and issues with just basic functions. Save your money for the issues, look for a cheaper option, or accept that it is slow and laggy for the price. I tried to get support on the audio cutout. They could not duplicate it or help me. They kept telling me to reset and try again. If you have the phone close to the radio, like on a dash mount, it cuts out the audio. If you move it away, like 18 inches, then it's fine. They had no idea and could not fix it. I just gave up with support.

The media could not be loaded. I've had this head unit and I'm constantly being amazed with this unit. What was today's learnt fact. The my wife called my phone, the head unit rang over the radio, til I answered it. Fun fact it's as clear as day, it's like you put you cell on speaker. Clesr as day, no echos or electric humming . Yesterday was page 12 of the user manual taught Mr how to pair my Bluetooth ODB to the headunit. The 1 microSD plugged in a micro sd card( 1tb in my case) I was able to download Sygic a program that I purchased from Google play. It download the navigation program to head unit. Once it was done downloading when I opened the navigation program lt shows the 3 drives I had, and I could select the drive to install it to! I can't recommend this Android 12.1 Enough! Update 9/19/2025 This head-unit has been working flawlessly for over 2 years! Im seriously thinking of purchasing the next generation version 5, as this unit has been flawlessly
