Mattresses have different depths...8 inch, 10 inch, 12 inch etc. My mattress was 10 inches deep and the cover was big enough to cover a 12-14 inch mattress depth. This was not the fault of the seller, or product, as I am sure it had the correct depth marked online. Also, it was for a travel trailer and it did not need to be "snug" fitting. As for the product, it is very strong, but very light weight and appears to be everything that was described...working well. We had a problem a long time ago with bedbugs. We bought this for all of our beds just because it was so creepy and I've been paranoid ever sense. So I gave this 5 starts because it fits very snug, it's easy to put on and the zipper is protected and it has a velcro flap over the end of the zipper. I've struggled to get a good mattress cover that fits, but this really did the trick. I got 3, for different-size mattresses and they all fit. The only thing is that they are quite slippery under bedsheets so I've opted for fitted sheets as opposed to flat sheets.

It's soft in the front inside has a material it is water resistant but it's not so comfortable to sleep on makes me a little hot I'm older 52 years old I tend to get hot but with this and makes me hotter thinking about changing it does not make any noise though when you move

Not noisy at all which is a plus because i purchased a different brand before that was loud hot and held ait like a balloon. But it does make u hot. It also holds quite a bit of air. Not as much as the other one i had at least so I'll settle but kinda annoying because feels like a balloon sometimes
