Description

Klowra is a collective of engineers, independent musicians, and tone obsessives driven by one idea: sound should feel alive. We don’t build pedals to recreate the past. We build tools for musicians chasing sounds that don’t fully exist yet, the textures, movement, and emotion that live somewhere between instinct and imagination. Klowra exists at the intersection of engineering discipline and creative obsession, that's Where the Tone Blooms. A coding bug once exploded into harsh digital noise. Instead of failure, we heard the ocean. That accident became the Tide Mode inside the Limbo Reverb. Klowra draws inspiration from everywhere: underground culture, experimental art, studio culture, and the musicians. We care about creating instruments that inspire forward motion. Klowra pedals combine world-class manufacturing with road-ready reliability for touring and studio professionals. Our goal is simple: uncompromising sound and durability. Visit the Store Guided by the light, I plunge into the black hole, crossing the void and the edges of existence, only to emerge at the source of life itself - the ocean. Here, endings and rebirth intertwine, where all things dissolve and renew, and beginnings and endings converge in the Higanbana. The Architecture of Infinite Space Evoke the vastness of the cosmos and the depths of the ocean through a single chord. Limbo seamlessly integrates studio-grade acoustic foundations with boutique atmospheric engines, delivering a comprehensive sonic palette-from hyper-realistic physical spaces (ROOM, HALL, CHURCH) and classic emulations (PLATE, SPRING) to dynamic SWELL textures and surreal, ethereal realms (TIDE, SHIMMER, HAZY). These responsive cinematic soundscapes swell with organic movement, powered by high-definition algorithmic design to anchor your tone while opening a gateway to boundless artistic expression. Dynamic Interaction & Control Klowra Limbo doesn’t define your sound; it empowers you to define your space. Featuring the Bloom Infinity Series-exclusive RAMP function, alongside FREEZE and INFINITY modes, it allows you to sculpt evolving, breathing textures in real-time. Whether via the on-board switches or an external expression pedal, Limbo’s open-parameter architecture offers an intuitive yet deep creative flow. The newly integrated LED button and SIZE parameter further refine the reverb density and tail decay, ensuring every subtle adjustment translates into a profoundly immersive experience. Tonal Purity & Professional Integration Engineered for the sonic architect. To ensure absolute signal integrity, Limbo integrates an intelligent 32-bit floating-point WildSeed DSP engine with 100% Analog Dry-Through, eliminating "digital tone suck" and latency. With selectable True Bypass or Buffered Bypass (with Trails) and versatile stereo output modes, Limbo guarantees tonal purity and seamless integration across even the most complex studio or stage rigs-from high-gain guitar chains to delicate ambient synth setups. By dissolving the boundary between high-definition digital textures and 100% analog integrity, Klowra Limbo serves as the definitive atmospheric bridge for the expansive layers of Shoegaze, Worship, and modular synthesis. TIDE is far from a conventional modulated reverb; it is a kinetic engine endowed with organic breathing. A hyper-responsive algorithmic engine that captures the ocean’s duality; at low Texture settings, it provides a pristine, silk-like diffusion with a salty, modulating breeze, while digging into the strings triggers a non-linear sonic maelstrom - transforming serene ripples into a crashing wall of atmospheric chaos. Forget the sterile chirping of standard pitch-shifters; SHIMMER is a multi-dimensional tapestry woven from stardust. Leveraging Wildseed engine 32-bit floating-point precision, it generates an infinite, grain-free halo that trails your notes like a celestial choir. With a twist of the Texture knob, the lush, orchestral gold can decay into a haunting, metallic frost, stretching your sound into a monumental cathedral of glass and light. Designed for the architects of "vibe," HAZY creates a low-coherence sonic refraction that blurs the boundaries of your notes into a floating atmospheric haze; it balances a serene, morning-mist clarity with a gritty, pitch-unstable sandstorm texture, making it the definitive tool for adding vintage physical depth to any guitar or synth rig. Klowra Bloom pedals unite music and visual storytelling. Each one is designed with original illustrations by independent artists, inspired by philosophy and mysticism. They turn every performance into an immersive experience - where every note has its own image, its own meaning, its own soul. And soon, new Bloom Infinity series pedals will continue this artistic tradition, completing your stage and your collection. With the RAMP function, Klowra Limbo Reverb lets you trigger preset effects or craft your own dynamic transitions using the onboard footswitch, external TS/TRS footswitches, or a TRS expression pedal. Linear parameter variation enables smooth fades between settings, allowing every note to evolve naturally and deliver immersive, cinematic soundscapes. This special feature allows your guitar sound to continue indefinitely without decay through the pedal’s effects processing. Perfect for creating surreal atmospheres, sustained walls of sound, or freezing a momentary state of sound, Freeze & Infinity transforms each note into a rich, immersive, and endlessly expressive experience. The Klowra Limbo Reverb now features an LED button, simplifying user operation and providing clear visual feedback. A newly added SIZE parameter increases overall reverb density, optimizes the natural decay of tails, and smooths parameter curves, delivering more immersive and professional-grade sound. Connect TS/TRS footswitches or TRS expression pedals to unleash the pedal’s full potential. Shape RAMP effects, freeze moments, and sculpt parameters in real time for performances that are truly expressive and uniquely yours. Dry/Wet Separation and True Stereo Outputs for flexible routing and enhanced spatial imaging in stereo setups. The Klowra Limbo Reverb guitar pedal transforms your ambient guitar into towering, cinematic soundscapes. It features nine revamped reverb types, including four classic styles (room, plate, hall, spring) and five signature expansive atmospheres (shimmer, tide, hazy, swell, church), giving you the freedom to craft both familiar tones and majestic, immersive textures. 1. What is the function of the LED button light? Can I adjust its brightness? The LED button shows the pedal’s status and gives quick access to functions. Hold footswitch while powering on Power-Up Mode →Rotate the bottom-right knob→ short-press footswitch to exit. Check the manual for more Power-Up Mode features. 2. What hidden parameters does the Limbo Reverb have, and how do I adjust them? Limbo Reverb includes hidden parameters like PreDelay, Ramp ATK, and Ramp RLS. To adjust them, hold the LED button while turning the knob. 3. What is the RAMP function? What does it do, and how do I use it? RAMP smoothly transitions between two tone settings, adding expressive fades and dynamic movement. Save your first tone as Snap-Set, adjust a second tone (Panel-Set), then hold the footswitch to trigger RAMP. The LED shows the transition status. 4. What are the Freeze and Infinity Modes? Freeze: Holds the current reverb tail indefinitely for layering melodies or chords. Infinity: Continuously sustains and stacks reverb for endless, immersive space. 5. Does the Limbo Reverb support an expression pedal? Yes! In addition to expression pedals, the pedal supports TS/TRS footswitches. Plug the TS/TRS footswitch into the CTRL jack and repeatedly trigger it for recognition. Once recognized, it’s ready for normal use. • Klowra Limbo is an Ambient Dream Pedal!
Color: Limbo Blue
Amazing reverb pedal with wide stereo sound. There are some really interesting and beautiful reverb algorithms on this pedal. My favorites are the Tide and Swell, with the Shimmer a close second. Absolutely a great value at the price point. Klowra has some fantastic products. I love what they are doing! This pedal shines with the traditional reverbs effects like Hall, Plate, Spring, Room, and Church. The Hazy, Shimmer, Swell and tide take you to another place. It fits very well on my pedal board. The functionality is incredible. The ramping feature and infinite feature is amazing. ... show more

  • WOW
Color: Everlast Black
So I have the Alabs delay as well and this definitely feels like a step up in quality. Sounds are fantastic, each setting feels unique but they all sound super rich and full. The Alabs, while a good pedal on it's own, sometimes sounded a little thin or harsh. The tap tempo has been upgraded as well, takes a short press to engage it and then it switches back over quickly. I was looking to replace my WA ARP87 (I really like having a time knob, not just tap tempo) and was a little leery of this not having a dedicated tap switch, but this version feels much nicer to use. If you're looking for a solid delay pedal this one definitely is up to par with, and even outshines, more expensive units. ... show more

  • Very impressive ambient soundscapes
Color: Limbo Blue
I’ve been searching for an ambient guitar pedal upgrade for my acoustic for awhile. I already had a cheap $40 pedal that was ok. But it lacked the texture and the sonic resonance that I was looking for. I tried the higher end brands from strymon and fender both and I was sorely disappointed. Then one night I was on YouTube and stumbled across this Klowra limbo. I thought wow it sounds impressive on the videos, but I’ve been disappointed before by other influencers who claimed this or that pedal was the absolute game changer. So I decided to just pull the trigger and try it, what the heck, if I don’t like it I can just return it. Yeah I’m keeping it, I mean oh yeah it’s a keeper. It absolutely blows other high end brands away! My acoustic guitar playing went from ok to I can’t put it down. So the sonic resonance and ambient textures I appreciate have finally come to life and in full stereo. Most if not every mode on this pedal has impressed me. My favorite right now is swell mode which has a cello like texture in the background. Also tide is sweet with that oceanic wave crash texture. Just get it if you appreciate ambient soundscapes and amazing reverb decays. ... show more

  • Truly a professional quality reverb - but there’s a noise issue…
Color: Limbo Blue
Honestly, this could be the best compact stereo reverb on the market right now. Strymon quality - in some cases, better. For example, the shimmer on here is absolutely one of the best, smoothest shimmer tones I've ever heard. The stereo image is wonderful; it is very straightforward, too. No menu diving. Covers a wide range of tones very, very well. You might hear mostly about its capabilities in ambient music, and those comments are true - it excels there - but it also does the classics and the subtle very well. The build quality is the one thing I was worried about - I had purchased an Alabs Timeslip in the past, and that felt a little cheap with wobbly knobs. Klowra was formed by former Alabs employees who broke off to go in a different direction, and I am glad they did because they totally fixed the build quality issue! These are more solid than some more expensive pedals out there! I'd compare it to Walrus Audio's build quality. Edit: after a week of playing I noticed a loud hum coming from my pedalboard. I isolated each pedal and found the culprit to be the Klowra Limbo reverb. It is unfortunately too loud to ignore and the pedal will have to be returned. ... show more

  • Great variety, solid sonic quality in a nifty package!
Color: Sprout Green
I have a few Alabs pedals that I picked up 2nd hand (Timeslip and Orbital) and they both sounded great. Very simple to use and useable sounds! I own a lot of weirder boutique pedals that sometimes have deadzones or terrible sounds, so it's nice to step it back a bit with pedals that may have a more limit range of tweaking, but are built to stay in a good zone. When I saw Klowra pedals, it's obvious they're a sort of breakaway from the Alabs line. I wanted to pick up a modulation pedal for some odd flourishes (mostly Tremolo based) and this seemed to be the new kid on the block and on sale so I gave it a shot. There are a lot of options on this pedal - from Chorus to Flanger to Trem to Ring mod. First impressions were that the Chorus/vibe settings were a little weak for my taste. That's probably a personal thing as I don't use those effects much for my style, so I wasn't concerned. However the trem and ring mods sound very good. The actual modulation and tweaking range you can do isn't quite as wide as dedicated mod pedals would be - for instance, I couldn't get this thing to chop up the trem as hard as an Earthquaker Hummingbird might go. The ring mod can't quite make a heavy bell sound as much as I've heard some other boutique things, but still sounds good. But for the price this thing has a LOT of tonal variety to color your sound just a little bit more. Bonus perks: Stereo ins/outs. (For synth effects this is great!) Using stereo can get things very wacky! Ramping features! I love pedals that can do this! It really adds some more live interactivity over your sound. Expression (CTRL) jack: use those expression pedals or rampers (OBNE) to really change the flavor of the pedal on the fly - this gives it a big advantage over the Alabs versions. (Note - the LED on this is also a push button to unlock some option controls.) Overall, solid pedal and glad to have it in my arsenal for those moments when I just want a little extra sonic detail. The artwork is also very cool (on all of the Klowra and Alabs pedals) and I'm looking forward to seeing where this company goes from here! (I see they've already released some new effects models!) ... show more

  • Great at any price, a steal at what they’re charging
Color: Everlast Black
Wow! I just got mine and jammed with it for an hour, and it sounds great. The tape echo alone is worth the price — you can control the amount of dirt and flutter with the Texture knob, and at high repeats it’s quite a gorgeous wash behind my playing. The other effects seem good but I haven’t explored them as much. It’s great to have a granular/glitch effect. Being able to switch settings temporarily by holding down the foot switch seems useful. The pedal feels rugged, has nice artwork, and generally seems a labor of love. I can’t imagine how they can afford to sell it for half the price of comparable pedals from Walrus, Catalinbread, etc. ... show more

  • Amazing Delay!
Color: Everlast Black
Incredible delay for the price! I love the tape echo mode in particular, but there are so many useful sounds in this box. The granule and crystal modes are weird and fun, the mod delay is beautiful. Tap tempo is incredibly useful. This will be staying on my board for the near future.
