I wanted a shade that fit my personality but also my car. It is my preference for an easy accordion fold and the strap makes it easy to fold up and put away or deploy as needed. Having received it right as the seasons turn I wish I could speak to its efficacy in exactly how cool it can keep the interior. Even now it makes a difference and I know I’ll be using this to keep my dash and steering wheel cool. It was a bit of a tighter fit at the bottom corners of the windshield but the screen still fits. No suction cups needed, just fold down the visors. I drive a pretty small car (2013 CR-Z) and I’m happy I found such a fun shade. The only hard part was deciding on the color! UPDATE: Apparently because we weren't done getting blasted by the heatwave I can say that this definitely helps keep the interior a good deal cooler. Love it. Glad there are some fun, sleek shades out there.

I will say that although not a matte black it’s a cool blue that changes colors as the light hits it which based off of how well it performs I DON’T CARE ABOUT COLOR! * Very good quality! * Thickness of material makes it truly insulated which makes it about 50-55% cooler in my car. We can get in the car, keep the windows up and turn the A/C on without feeling like you’ve got to roll down the windows immediately due to the heat! My wife drives a BMW X5 and it fits perfectly in her windshield! I drive a Mercedes GLC300 and it’s a tiny bit too big as seen in the video. BUT… It’s not even a big deal and is very easy to roll and store. Honestly, I have no idea what they are talking about when they say to rate Suction Power… I’m giving that 1.6 stars but that’s the only thing I’m lost about! Everything else… Definitely worth 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Happy shopping to you all!!!

Very thick material so it does a good job at keeping the heat out. I live in Hawaii so the regular thinner polyester material like sun shades are pretty useless. Been looking for these more traditional ones and am glad to see that they are still being made. Like other reviews, the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is the fit. For my 2004 Solara the vertical fit was slightly less than perfect but not a big deal as the gap is small enough to not make much of a difference.

Update- only had it 3 months and it’s disintegrating. The mint colored edge and the silver is flaking off everywhere in my car. Looks like dust all over my chairs and dashboard. What a waste of money. I’ll be going back to auto zone to buy a new one. I should have done that to begin with. Fits my 2018 dodge charger. Small gap on each side, as seen in my picture. Not as dark as the black & silver sunshade I had but does the job. I love the colors. Mint & iridescent. Hope it keeps its shape with our hot FL summers. I faced the silver outside to reflect the sun away from my windshield. I’ve had it in my car for a week and it seems to be doing well so far. It was easy to put up and take down. I like the Velcro strap to store it in the back seat while driving. Noticed a little flaking like other reviews said. Needed a new one urgently though as my other sun shade from auto zone lost its shape completely and wouldn’t stay up on my windshield. I’ll be careful when handling it. Overall, glad I bought it.

Fits my Dodge Avenger well. There has been a noticeable difference in temperature in the car when I get in. It’s still hot, of course, but not to the point of barely being able to breathe anymore. I had been looking for a windscreen shade for a few months now but all the options out there are a bit overwhelming. Do I want one that opens and closes like an umbrella? One that has wires inside of it so it opens flat and folds into a circle? Or the tried and true accordion-style fold? Do I want one with a funny photo? A nice nature-themed photo? The generic aluminium colour? A solid colour that matches my car, or my favourite colour? So yeh… I never decided on one so I hadn’t bought one. Until I was on the phone with my casual partner in Scotland after he’d returned from holiday in Corfu and was complaining about how hot his hired car was and how much it hurt to touch the steering wheel and how that’s the reason he’s glad to have his windscreen sun shade for his car. This got me into my indecisive rant about all of the options available keeping me from choosing one so I just continue to needlessly suffer haha So he told me he was going to find me one, send me the link, and I had to buy it right there and then no questions asked lol So this is what he sent me. Well, he sent the one on the UK Amazon site (which was $11 LESS after conversion than this one on the American Amazon site 🙄). I’m not disappointed at all with anything except the price. There’s honestly no reason for such a huge price difference between all of the windscreen sun shades in the UK vs America other than greed. Anyway, with that being said, it’s lightweight, protects the car from the sun, folds up nicely and stores nicely in between my seats, under the seat, or behind the seat where I can grab it easily and not be in any other passenger’s way too much. I do wish it came with suction cups though. The UK one did. But it stays fine with the sun visors on both sides pulled down.
