  • Lots to love about this pedal!
Color: Red
I just got this from my wife as an early birthday present. I absolutely love it. First you don't just get the Whammy pitch shift you get a drop tune and chorus like effect (detune) too. I played several different songs and the drop tune feature tracks very good. I keep my guitars tuned to D sharp and it was nice to not have to re tune for every song. Even as I went past 3 steps it tracked well. I tried the detune with the drop tune and I got lots of clipping in the signal. It almost sounded like over compression (at least my setup). On a clean setting without the drop tune on the detune sounds wonderful. Its basically the Luxe pedal Digitech sells. Skip that pedal and grab this one with the extra features. The whammy feature is cool and give you that "Rage Against the Machine" solo sound Tom Morello is famous for. A gigging musician may want to invest in the Midi controller a 3rd party has released. It basically cycles through the presets with a foot controller so you dont have to bend over and do it by hand. I may invest in one at a later date. Overall this is a great pedal that allows you to drop tune without messing with your tuning pegs, gives you a chorus effect that's really cool and the whammy for a screaming solo sound. ... show more

  • Defective pedal sweep
Color: Red
The media could not be loaded. Firstly, this pedal functions and does all I expected with the exception of two defects. One is when you are moving the pedal from the toe up position to the toe down position. The pitch will bounce up and down awkwardly in the beginning of the move, even though the motion is slow and steady. I've attached a video of this example. You can even see it happen in calibration mode, it occurs between the number 2 and number 3 LED lights. The second one was the harmony effects didn't sound good/musical as I've heard in the same pedals friends have. The down tune functions, controls, pitch bending effects and everything else sounds as what I wanted and expected. I'll update my review as soon as my replacement is received and tested. ... show more

  • The Whammy Supreme
Color: Red
I don't rate many musical products on here. This thing meets the hype. Actually, it exceeds it. As a huge fan of Dimebag Darrell, I can confirm it can get that sound for you - that "Becoming" type sound. What's crazy is how much else this thing packs in, since it's not exclusively a whammy pedal. I won't get into all its details (instruction book breaks it down well) but suffice to say there's a ton of possibilities included. Add to that a well-made pedal that's built to last - easy 5 stars. ... show more

  • If you play in a cover band and have multiple tunings you can’t go wrong with this.
Color: Red
This pedal is totally worth it. I only have to bring one guitar to a show playing 40 plus cover songs for three hours. My first show with my band I had to bring 5 guitars. Them days are over plus I love using it for accents in my own original music.

  • Grandson loves it!
Color: Red
My Grandson needed this so he could play a song that used a wammy pedal. He already had a Drop Tuner, but this drops and raises, plus with the pedal, it's the best setup for him and his bass.

  • Not for Bass!!!
Color: Red
Bought this to use on my bass but it's really designed for guitar. Wah side was alot of fun to play around with but It doesn't work well with low bass tones. So I traded it in for the Bass Whammy....which works great. Drop tuning side works good on higher octaves but makes a bad wobbling/wave effect sound on lower octaves that gets worse the lower you go. I bought an Electro Harmonix Pitch Fork pedal which works 10 times better even below A tuning on bass. Drop side wobble isn't worth the large price tag in my opinion. Better to buy a Whammy pedal and a pitch shifting pedal seperate. ... show more

  • This pedal is awsome!
Color: Red
This pedal is everything it says and more. I originally bought it for the drop tune side. I play bass and sing in the Praise Team at my church. Our piano player is great at last minute key changes. It is not always easy for me to drop keys by just a few steps, and a capo is not always the right answer. Now I can change the key quick and easy. The true bypass is great. Keeps my tone clean and crisp. The Whammy side is a bonus. With adjustable whammy and harmony it is a lot to play around with. I use the one octave up on the the harmony side the most. With the two octave up whammy and the addition of a good distortion pedal I am the Jimmy Hendrix of bass guitar. Like I said, lots to play around with. Get this pedal and have fun. ... show more
