  • Go further with acid, chirps and laser beams
Style: Standard Pattern Name: Pedal
I use this pedal with a bassline synth and it adds a smooth but powerful driven flavor when the synth is self oscillating that yields a more threatening and sinister sound for acid and lasers. Essential kit for me now. I would buy it again or perhaps the Waza upgraded one.

  • Great pedal!!!!
Style: Standard Pattern Name: Pedal
I'm not José Satriani, but for me this pedal has an amazing balance between an overdrive and a non heavy distortion. Just for music which requires a wide spectrum... Not only for blues... the internet can provide amazing explanatory videos about usability and vs to others like tubescreamer and so on... ... show more

  • One of my favorites!
Style: Standard Pattern Name: Pedal
This Boss Blues Driver has become one of my new favorites. It sounds good solo, or grouped with other pedals. The sound is so nice. It is a really sturdy pedal too. It also sounds good with a variety of guitars (Strat, LP, Flying V). It even sounds good on a small practice amp. Whether you are in a band or just a home noodler, you will love this pedal. If you only ever splurge on one Boss pedal, this is the one to get. ... show more

  • Waza is worth it
Style: WAZA Craft Pattern Name: Pedal
I can't add anything that hasn't already been said. Superior gain tone with single coils or humbuckers in a pedal that will last forever. If this were a boutique manufacturer it would be double the price!

  • Big Sound at a great price.
Style: Standard Pattern Name: Pedal
Like the other reviews state, this is a FUN pedal! I have it connected to my massive pedal box so it simply plugged right in to my power array with no issues. It sounds clean and is very loud! The tone is nice. BUT I also own the Boss Heavy Metal pedal which is a fantastic pedal. I've used it for years so when I added the Blues Driver, I was deeply disappointed in how close it sounds to the Heavy Metal pedal. I have both pedals lined up and I switch them back and forth to test. Both sound a lot alike. It's not enough to really go 3-stars but I was really hoping for a more mellow blues sound and instead I got more of a ROCK sound. It's OK as I have the tone control adjusted in such a way that it's tweaked for a different sound and not a total loss but .. dynamically, it's not all that. The volume of the pedal is great. It really pushes the envelope, even more than the Heavy Metal. That said, it gets 4 stars as by itself, it is a kick-butt pedal. I currently have a slew of FX going through my iPad and into my pedal box (volume -> compressor -> FX -> delay -> amp) and this pedal certainly holds its own amongst the other FX pedals linked to it. I'm glad I own it but I am not sure the price warrants what you get. If you don't already own a Heavy Metal pedal, then it would be a fantastic addition to your stomp collection. ... show more

  • Perfect for Classic Rock
Style: Standard Pattern Name: Pedal
Right amount of grit for almost every Classic Rock song. It can even be dialed back to satisfy the Country sounds. I do everything in-the-box (no amp) and this really makes it work.

  • amazing tone
Style: WAZA Craft Pattern Name: Pedal
One of the best overdrive pedals on the market. Transparent. Doesn't color the tone much. Very responsive to your play style. You dig in, and the harmonics soar. Light playing makes for warm smooth saturation. Pairs VERY well with a Greer Lightspeed.
