Good, sturdy, and wasn't too difficult to put together. Package was HEAVY so you'll likely need a dolly to move or open and move piece by price. If you need firm mattress support you'll want to invest in a bunkie board to put over the slats. Drawers are higher quality than expected but are difficult to latch shut since the latch is just a bolt feeding into a hole- I feel like it's enough of a nuisance to warrant removing a star because you have to slightly lift the drawer and move it around to latch it on the bolt. Very easy to line the wire drawers to make a more supportive, solid base for your storage. Headboard, footboard, and base are quiet, sturdy, and keeps the mattress from randomly moving around. shelf had enough space and width for a small bedside lamp on each side. We fed surge protectors from our outlet behind the bed to either side under the headboard base for the lamps and anything extra since there's only two outlets and phone charging ports built into the shelf. Came with two sticky corner protectors for the foot that didn't last a full day, but that's okay cause you don't really need them. Pleasantly surprised!

Bed frame is great. It’s sturdy and doesn’t make noise. It’s easy to assemble, took about 2 hours with just one person. Only complaint is the drawers slide around but I’m planning to add magnets to hopefully keep them in place.

Not great at taking pictures but I ordered this recent and be my partner built it. Very happy. Gorgeous! Drawers go crazy. Not fixed to the structure. But the bed grab was very cheap and good quality aside from that. My man will fix the drawer situation. If he wasn’t here I’d probably add zip ties to keep it in palace. Other than that. Great Value, Look, and Function. The metal frame is black in color, the fabric headboard is the perfect shade of Grey, and the and the wood looks solid and real; and, matches the wood color/grain of several dressers, night stands, and furniture here on Amazon no matter the brand. Easy assembly for a DIY person. Sturdy enough for most people. Exactly what I was looking for as a very skilled and creative handy person. This is perfect for a Cal King 14 inch high hybrid (spring and memory foam) Mattress, which is designed to be on a flat platform with no box spring. This frame was good out of the box. The drawers underneath are great and make for easy cleaning/vacuuming underneath the bed. But the frame can be even better with some modification from the original slat design. I installed 1/2 inch plywood (with sanded, rounded corners, and recessed screws) to the metal frame and added braces and feet from the big box store and here on Amazon. It was sturdy before, but now even better. Highly recommend this bed frame for anyone. The best feature is that this bed frame is bigger than the mattress. The baseboard does sit right on the floor, but I have not hit a toe into it yet.

Pros: The frame itself seems solid and sturdy. The cushioned headboard looks nice. The plugs in the headboard are practical. The height of the mattress is decent, only a couple of inches lower than our old king-sized bed with traditional boxsprings. Assembly was easily completed by 2 teenage boys. Cons: the "wooden" part is cheap chipboard with a wood grain laminate pattern and is thin. The drawers are a joke. They are very rickety. Would have been much better with drawer slides built into the frame but instead they're little wire baskets with a "wooden" piece on the front and has rollers on the bottom. There's a large gap between the mattress and the headboard, so the pillows and everything else falls behind the mattress. At least it's a wide enough gap to easily retrieve the fallen items. Another downfall is since there's no gap under the bed, when we are getting into bed we end up kicking the face of the drawers. Like I said, it's practical but leaves a lot to be desired.

Clear instructions, pre-drilled holes, and all the tools you need in one bag? Genius. I had this bad boy up and running solo in under an hour (thanks, Netflix for the moral support!).
