It is a little pricey for the small piece of metal and fluff that it is but an absolute necessity for me. If you need to use both a cold shoe and the wind muff / dead kitten at the same time (I use the cold shoe for an LED light) it works perfectly. It is easy to take on and off but secure enough that there is no way it will fall off on its own. Great product but just wish it were cheaper.

The Sony ZV-1 comes with a wind shield muff, but I needed one that would allow me to add a light for low-light conditions. This is perfect! It's super sturdy and I love how the wind shield is more compact and is softer than the original. I don't notice a difference in the sound quality of my videos and best of all, I can add my light to my cam! It slides out of the slot easily so there's no need to worry about struggling to get it off.

I lost the windshield that came with the camera the very first day I took it out, because of course I did. Went to the official store and got curious what other options there were beyond the official one. Found this and love it. Beyond seeming to be as good for audio as the original (based on the one day I had with it), it has the additional benefit of allowing you to still cold shoe an accessory on it. Allows me to use a camera light while filming myself in low light conditions, which is great.
