It’s does what it’s supposed it. You get what you pay for. It’s good for a backup. I r used this about as much as I use my Nakta Pinpointer

Don't be conned into spending over a hundred dollars on a pinpointer that does the same, or less, than this one. Sturdy and accurate. Of course it won't find coins buried several inches down....that is what your detector is for....but it does make short work in sifting through dirt or sand to quickly locate your find. The only complaint I have is the horrible shipping time....which is the fault of Amazon and not the seller or the product.
