I installed it in a location where it is exposed to the sun. It heated up and the door bell button "pressed itself" and stayed engaged. If I wouldn't have caught it, it would have burned out my door bell. I've loosened the screws mounting it to the door frame....and it hasn't gone off again. But I'm going to replace it anyway because I fear that it will "go off" again when I'm not around to catch it. ... show more
