In the right setting this is an interesting light. The construction is solid. The dimmer switch works but there’s not a definitive off. Turn it counter clockwise and it goes off. Keep going and it comes back on. Round and round it goes. The lack of a real shade is definitely different. The light is well made. The dimmer switch is either faulty or a poor design. The lack of a shade is weird. Update: Sometimes things grow on you over time. Well, not this lamp. In fact it’s the opposite. The more I see it, and use it, the more I don’t like it. Functionally other than the goofy switch, it’s well built. So, if this is your style there’s no reason not to order it. ... show more
