The media could not be loaded. 11/20/22 update — returned the camera for a replacement and this one has been working great so the first was just defective. I ordered two more since this one works and do not have issues with any. It’s not bad for the price. The camera does work and the daytime videos are good but the night is not so great. When I downloaded the Yi Iot ap for the camera I received a welcome email from Yi Iot an requests for subscription to their cloud. I did the 7 day trial and nothing works. It does not upload the alert videos to their cloud. I also can’t change the length of the video as the trial said I could. Emailed this info to their tech support was advised that I need to contact the manufacturer to get info on setting length of clip. The instructions they gave for viewing cloud video does not work an you can’t contact the manufacturer. So I wasted money on this device. Update The camera is now malfunctioning after a week. See attached video.

UPDATE: It stopped working after 1 month. Constantly detecting blowing leaves but will not detect a person walking right in front of it. App is not very good. Cannot get the App to show video clips. Difficult to pan camera. Camera won't stay where you set it. Picture quality is very good though. Works good for a "live" monitoring camera, but very poorly for a motion detecting security camera.

great camera a little hard to get set up but not to bad I bought 2 for front and back yards wi-fi needs to be real close though cant get far from house only draw back so I just put it on the house back door and put in light socket on front door.

I like the camera which I do believe was worth the money. There is clear vision which is a plus. What I don't like is how the camera moves on its own in a different direction when I position it in the opposite direction. This has happened many of times. It also seems as if it gets stuck facing my wall and I am unable to rotate the camera. It's weird. I also noticed that you will see words pop up which is in a different language, possibly Chinese. That made me skeptical about the camera as if it was being controlled by someone else possibly, but I'm going to stick with it for now. Hopefully, I won't continue to run into the same issues.

This bulb camera only works with a subscription even if you are using wifi. Set up too long and lengthy. Wish I didn't waste my money

I have used it for 4 months and it has not given me any problems. It detects movement and the camera follows it, although sometimes it does not record the 6 seconds (without paying the premium). The light turns on when it detects movement at night. The image is very good and the audio too. I had low expectations but it has worked quite well.

Does not detect motion reliably. Motion of leaves moving in the breeze triggered recording but people coming to the door through same field of view don’t trigger recording. Very annoying and worthless

If you are looking for something that doesn't require a subscription to be useful...skip this one. All of the claimed features work, some extremely well! And there are some small flaws that can be worked around with some difficulty. But what irritates me is that they cripple the thing unless you buy a subscription...and the app constantly bugs you to buy a subscription. The picture is good, night vision good, remote pan and yaw is fair, and all I can say about the rest of the features is that they are functional. Motion detection takes so long to set off the camera that by the time it starts to record the subject is out of the picture. You might catch a foot or something. Without a subscription, you can not use the thing unless you are on your home wifi. So no checking your front porch from the store! I am not sure a subscription would help some features (I refuse to get one). When motion is detected it takes a minute or more before you are 'alerted'. Video recordings are restricted to 6 seconds each without a subscription. You can only monitor one camera without a subscription. (At least I think that is a fact, because other monitoring screens are 'locked'. When screwing it in, if it is facing 'the wrong way' it won't swivel all the way around so you can face it the 'right' way. (Fixed that by rewiring the socket so it is oriented for the camera's convenience). I was hoping this was an inexpensive way to monitor my home. I guess I will keep looking. On the bright side, I have now test it for YOU! So you don't have to waste money testing it. Again, skip it!
