Does the job
This jack does the job. The product is real. I was hesitating to order this jack because the picture on the listing looks very fake. I did a google search and confirmed that this jack was designed for occasional use, which is what I do- maybe use it five times a year. You may have to add hydraulic oil. My first time ever using a jack so I am no sure how critical the oil is. The manual doesn’t say to add oil before using. It shows the place where oil goes so I checked and it looked empty, which encouraged me to add hydraulic oil.

This thing is crap
Hydraulic cylinder pump broke after less than 2 years. I was using it when I heard a snap. The short piece of metal that goes between the pump handle and the hydraulic cylinder broke. There is nothing I can do to fix it, it's just a brick at this point.

Confident Lifting
This is a good quality robust jack. I've owned this 3 ton model for 5 years with no issues and this is my second purchase because it was on sale on amazon. I've never had any issues with the build quality. Perhaps it can be hefty because it is mostly of steel construction, however nothing is going to fail for lifting applications.

Useful lift range
Bought these (two) to help in servicing the truck and SUV. Lifts higher than most jacks, with a screw type pad on top to help get a few more inches of lift. These are not really wide, either, which helps in placement behind wheels. Recommended product.
