This portable basketball system from Lifetime Products features a 44" Impact backboard with a telescoping height adjustment that adjusts from 7.5 to 10 feet high. It also includes a Classic Rim with an all-weather nylon net and a 2.75" diameter round steel pole. With a streamline 12-gallon portable base, this system is the perfect beginner residential basketball system. Backboard is molded of high-density polyethylene, making it virtually unbreakable. Graphics are screen-printed with UV-protected inks for superior color and protection against the elements. The system is supported by a heavy duty portable base. I purchased this for younger kids knowing that I didn't need a heavy duty backboard and rim. It works fine for younger kids and teens that aren't serious players. Backboard is a bit flimsy and the rim is very forgiving. Putting it together was a bit of a hassle. I thought a smaller light basketball system would be easier to put together. The issue is that there are some manufacturing discrepancies and can be a hassle to line all the metal pieces together to line up the holes for the bolts and nuts. One of the screw ones was wrong and I had to go to the hardware store and find the right size. So overall okay, but be aware that there may be some manufacturing issues that will make putting it together a bit of a hassle. ... show more

    • Difficult to assemble
Difficult to assemble. Definitely needed 2 - 3 people to get the job done. There was a missing wheel in the original shipping. Another was ordered and came quickly but was the wrong one. The correct one was sent quickly when the company was contacted the second time. We attempted to add sand to the base but getting the sand in the small openings was a nightmare so we ended up using water. It is ready for use now...looking forward to a lot of use and fun!!! ... show more

Arrived missing one wheel and most of the poles needed to actually assemble it we're not there. The box was in shambles and had obviously been retaped poorly more than once! Awful!!!!

This basketball hoop is not easy to put together. The screws that were included are too short to use so I had to go and purchase longer screws

    • It's a nice basketball hoop
It's a nice basketball hoop. Good quality material and a bit of assembling. My biggest problem is that it is very hard to get sand into it. We are still working on getting the 2nd 50lb bag into the base.

received the item 4/27/22. I was very unhappy with what I received. The item looked as though it was thrown around with several rips an holes on the box. Also it was wrapped several times with tape. I also am missing all the hardware to assemble.
