Arrived promptly and was packed adequately. It is lightweight but can be easily balanced. It takes at least two or even four hours (from what I've tried so far) to charge based on how low the battery is. I don't think I've had it at totally empty yet. The charge lasts two, maybe three hours at full, so it's probably best to use at a lower power in an emergency. The blue light does come on when the battery is charged. It's tiny! The stem of the gooseleg seems very lightweight and very flexible, but holds different positions well so far. I had to buy an additional USB to two prong adapter which I prefer for charging - it only has a USB plug so that added to the cost. At least I was informed about which sort of plug it had prior to purchase. The different light settings are useful. I prefer the brightest setting for most purposes. This seems a fair price compared to the pricier models which seem a bit more sturdy. I marked it down a bit because of the long charging time and lack of a prong type adapter although a USB connector might be good if you had a solar or other type of power pack for a trip or an emergency. ... show more

After I started using them I realized that they would be useful to have on hand when the power goes out! I love this lamp so much. If you craft on the couch or literally anywhere other than on a desk or next to an outlet, it's perfect. If you use the lowest light setting for a few hours at a time, it lasts quite a while before needing a recharge. I'd say, on the brightest setting, it lasts about 4 hours without needing a charge. The bendy arm is perfect and it's small so you can just bend it in half to stick it in a bag. I use it nearly every day to crochet on the couch, in the car, or beside my bed (it's not too bright for my partner sleeping unlike my nightstand lamp). Light is bright & like that it has 3 settings, but it’s needs charged way more often than I anticipated. I’ll maybe used it 30 minutes (on the brightest setting) & the light starts to get dim & needs to charge. It should last longer than that.
