Great ergonomic chair with excellent comfort and support
Size: Midnight Black 48cm Style: Chair Only
I’ve been using the LiberNovo Dynamic Ergonomic Office Chair for a while now, and I’m genuinely impressed. The design feels very well thought out — especially the dynamic back support, which adjusts naturally as you move and helps reduce back strain during long work sessions. The chair is very comfortable even after sitting for hours. The lumbar support is firm but not aggressive, and the seat cushion provides good balance between softness and support. I also appreciate how adjustable everything is — height, armrests, recline — it’s easy to find a position that fits your body. Build quality feels solid and premium, and the chair looks clean and modern in a home office setup. Assembly was straightforward and didn’t take much time. Overall, this is a great ergonomic chair for anyone who spends long hours at a desk. Definitely worth it, especially for the comfort and back support it provides. ... show more

Perfect chair, BUT your mileage may vary
Size: Midnight Black 48cm Style: Chair Only
First off, this chair is super comfortable. The fabric is soft and comfy, from the bottom, up to the headrest. Tons of adjustment to be made to the arm rest, head rest, and of course its main feature, the backrest. The motor is quiet but effective, and overall the chair is beautiful and almost futuristic look to it. Set up was super easy, took about 20 minutes and they give you a huge instruction card to refer to. A couple of things to note though, the arm rest I would say are meh, they aren’t really soft and are very easy to move, front to back, and side to side. The lumbar function doesn’t move forward to back, it kinda does a scooping up motion but the back still stays flush against my back, it’s just something you don’t usually see with a lumbar support. Speaking of the back/lumbar, I would not recommend this chair to anyone who is big. The back hugs and the seat itself is not very wide, so I personally don’t think you’d find much comfort. They believe everyone is as thin as a twig over at libernovo. Finally to note, this chair has a tilt limiter, NOT a tilt lock. It will not remain in the spot you desire, the back is meant to follow you if you move forward. If you play with the tilt tension knob, you can kinda make your own tilt spot which takes very minimal effort to hold, because the tilt limiter on this chair has very weird spots. The chair wants to keep you upright but even just a click down, the next angle you’ll lay at is about 130° and it only goes down farther from there. It is kinda annoying, I wish it wasn’t so aggressive with the tilt. Again, this is a very very comfortable chair and I’m very excited. I come from only mesh chairs and finally having a cushion chair is a game changer. At this price point, a lot of chairs don’t have features even remotely close to this one. It has everything and more that I could ask with some exceptions. I wouldn’t hurt to wait for a sale, but at this price point, I believe it’s worth it to the right person. ... show more

Not Great as Expected
Size: Space Gray 48cm Style: Chair Only
Update June 2026- 160 degree recline stopped working now it does not recline to 160 Update May 2026- the lumber support does not go down all the way so now it goes down to first setting. Had for a month and already has issues. The material on the backside is already wrinkled and won't smooth out like the company says. Threads are starting to pop up. Support is all AI bots. Do not fall for the sponsored online reviews like I did, read reviews from here and trustpilot. Original Review Set up was easy. Then I noticed the seat keeps slowly going down to lowest setting as soon as I reclined. So anytime I reclined the seat would go down to lowest level. I tried all the troubleshooting tips from LiberNovo and nothing worked. I researched online and there is a fix. You have to remove the bottom cushion, then will see 2 screws, you have to loosen the 2 screws. This fixed the issue. Clearly a quality control issue. The material is nice and soft but I could never feel comfortable, it felt too small. My shirt or t-shirt rides up every time I move in the seat. The armrests are flimsy and move to the slightest touch which is very annoying. I love the look, headrest and recline positions. The seat cushion is way too short even at the 48inch model. If you are under 5'9 it may be ok. I do not trust the electronic lumber control to last. Warranty is only 2 years for the electronics. I regret buying this chair. ... show more

Highly recommend👍
Size: Midnight Black 48cm Style: Chair Only
After doing way too much research and comparing a bunch of office chairs, I finally chose the Libernovo ergonomic chair—and honestly, no regrets. Yes, the discount helped, but even without it, this chair checked all the boxes I was looking for. I’ll be honest: I’m not the most handy person. Assembly took me a bit of time, but with my husband’s help, it was actually pretty easy and stress-free. Once it was set up, I couldn’t wait to sit down—and wow. The first time I sat in it, I literally felt held. Like the chair was giving me a supportive hug. Super stable, very secure, and surprisingly comfortable. The lumbar support is amazing, and the hydraulic massage feature is such a nice bonus. As someone who deals with lower back pain from sitting too long, this chair has been incredibly kind to my back. When I sit upright, it supports me. When I lean back, I feel safe and relaxed (no fear of tipping over!). Long story short: I love this chair. My back loves this chair. And I’m very happy I chose Libernovo. ... show more

Comfortable. But questionable durability. Comfortable. But questionable durability.

Comfortable chair. But durability wise, the chair broke apart on day 2. I weigh 240 lbs and I made sure everything was put together correctly. However, the section that was suppose to hold the electronic hydraulic motor to the frame broke off. I didn't notice it at first until the back felt off when sitting normally and even worse when trying to recline. Did nothing out the ordinary with the chair. Basically, the chair now is unusable and I am sending it back. The only other complaint was the arms being flimsy. Which I saw the reviews and truly underestimated that detail. Felt comfortable while it lasted but I would say that an all hard plastic frame would probably not last as long as you may want it to considering the price being roughly $1000. I paid 850 for mine but now I don't think it's worth it for that much after that mishap. ... show more

Not for Everyone
Size: Midnight Black 48cm Style: Chair Only
I was very nervous when ordering this chair for my son as a gift, event it's with 300 dollar coupon. It's a very expensive for a brand new player on the market. There are also many complaints on the Reddit, so I took the risk and gamble for a good one without defect. Pro: 1. Ordering and delivery from Amazon is much easier than order directly from LiberNovo, easier to track and faster delivery. And if I need to return, it's also much easier to deal with Amazon than LiberNove direcly. 2. All the functions are very good, my son is 5-5 and still growing, the chair fit him perfectly. It's very comfortable. I like the cushion from the seat, back, and headrest. 3. It's super easy to put together, took us under 15 mins. Con. 1. The Armrest is too loose and too easy to trigger the side bottoms 2. The chair feels a little flimsy, almost like came out from a 3D printer. 3. The battery need to have an indication to show the battery level. 4. The is no tilt-lock. 5. The are a lot of issues with gas lift and the back locking clip you can find on Reddit, I guess i'm very lucky got the final production unit without any those issues. But if you do encounter issue, it's very hard to get any support from LiberNovo. Final thought: I don't think this chair is for everyone, I have the 48cm version and I can tell the chair is still too small for anyone that's over 6ft tall. This chair is probably designed for Asian since they are from Hong Kong, i'm 5'9 and my son is 5'5 and we fit perfectly, For anyone that's 6ft+ and 200+ lbs, this will be a very tight fit. I like the chair but not the price, I think it should be around 500 dollar range instead of 800 due to it's flimsy built. ... show more

Well-designed chair at a compelling price point if it works for you.
Size: Midnight Black 48cm Style: Chair Only
I've been on a saga of trying to find a chair that would solve the pain issues that have been cropping up recently. I've gone through maybe 7 new chairs at this point, and this one was truly so close. Assembly was maybe the easiest out of any chair that I've gotten. There were maybe 5 screws total, and things were separated to make them easily attachable with only one person. They give you a large single visual instruction card thing and I found it to be really well done. On that note, the entire chair looks fantastic. There are a few parts that I could tell were 3d printed, which is maybe the only knock on it, but they were totally unimportant bits that you wouldn't be looking at. Looking at it, it looks (and feels) like a premium product. As others have said, the headrest is maybe the best headrest I've ever used in a chair before. It's adjustable up, down, in, out, incredibly soft and comfortable, and all of that is doable (easily) on the fly. It was second nature within maybe an hour of usage. If I had one complaint about it it would be that it didn't go down quite far enough for me personally in some angles, but it's a quibble for sure. The back felt pretty great all the way through. It's clear that they care about making it work well, and it really didn't feel like any of the other chairs I'd used (but in a good way). I haven't tried an Embody, for comparison, but have tried several Steelcase Leap variants, a few Haworth chairs, and a large amount of leather executive chairs, and the back on this was much better than all of them for me. The motor to adjust the back lumbar on the fly is a super good idea, and I really don't think it's a gimmick at all. I found myself adjusting it kind of all the time depending on what I was doing. I also thought the little stretch routine that it has you do was also kind of neat. Unfortunately for me, it just didn't retract quite far enough, and more concerning it could not be adjusted at all vertically. The way they design the back I'm guessing that won't matter for maybe 90+% of people (though I know nothing and that's just my intuition on it), but I just kind of feel through the cracks of the weird mutant that it didn't fit right. The seat was kind of a mixed bag for me. I've been dealing with a lot of sit-bone pain on pretty much every chair, and unfortunately I still experienced that a bit with this chair too. That's mostly not their fault and is a me thing, but the seat is separated into harder foam at the back and softer towards the front. The softer foam was great for me, but the harder bit was definitely too hard. I would say the harder foam was pretty similar to a steelcase leap seat cushion, so not exactly hard, just harder. The seat cushion was also, as others have said, too short. I'm 5'9, so I can't imagine how taller people are dealing with it as I did get the larger of the two cushions. It felt like it needed to be several inches longer and also felt kind of like you were falling off of it. The seat also has no adjustment options for tilt or moving it in or out. The recline settings also need like one more intermediate option. It allows you to choose between a full recline, 2 other intermediate options, and locked upright. You can also change the tension to adjust how hard it is to push back into those positions. For me. the third recline was just too far, and the second wasn't quite far enough, which made me have to play with the tension rather than having it feel like it was locked in an position that I wanted. The way that the armrests and back move with you with the recline was amazing though, I can see it being a godsend for people with back pain if it fits you right. I ultimately ended up returning it because the lumbar area just wasn't hitting me right, and the seat was a bit too hard at the back which was causing pain, so I wasn't able to fully evaluate longevity. I will say that it feels sturdy and premium in pretty much every way. The mesh fabric did collect hair pretty quickly and easily though (I have a cat, which vastly exacerbated this). My real concern would be what happens if the motor dies for the back adjustment mechanism, since as far as I can tell there is no manual way to adjust it. With that said, I think if this chair fits you and you have been looking for chairs for some time or dealing with back pain for some time it will probably be quite worth the cost to you. It did feel like it would be a 24/7 chair if it had fit me correctly. Also worth noting that the manufacturer was super easy to deal with to return the chair. ... show more

Best chair I've ever sat in and I've sat in a lot of chairs lol
Size: Midnight Black 48cm Style: Chair Only
I feel like when you think about how much you spent on an item after its purchased the item was not worth the money. That is NOT the case with this chair. I've waited for a full month to leave this review. This chair is by far THEE most comfortable chair Ive ever sat in and I dont know about you but ive sat in a lot of chairs in my lifetime. I'm now criticizing every chair I sit in from waiting rooms to my own car seats. The lower back pain I was feeling is not a distant memory. Working, relaxing and just browsing the internet is so much more comfortable. I'm 5'7 170 lbs and my only concern was the depth of the chair but after a few days you dont even notice it. The 4 modes of positioning are all useful. I will admit the lumbar stretch is not reallyyyyy necessary but its a nice touch. But even if you never use that feature the chair is worth it. Thank me later. ... show more
