I have used many different chairs over the years and they all still left me with neck and back pain and wouldn’t be able to sit in them more than a couple hours. I decided to give this chair a try and I’m glad I did. It has been life changing. It’s super supportive and comfortable that I can sit in it all day long. I am not sure what more I can add other than all positives given by others. The back cushion, headrest, bottom cushion is perfect. The bottom cushion is stiff enuf for right comfort. The recline has enuf spring tension which you can control. Definitely buy it along with the foot rest. While the massage feature is not anywhere closer to real massage chair, it is not bad. It does the right amount of work for someone like me who has recurring back pain. The hand rest is at ideal position and keeps my arm parallel to height of my table. I do like the piston lumbar support and being able to get a good stretch in.. the weakest part of the chair however is the arms. they swivel around way to easily and you cannot lock them into position other than up and down. this makes them feel odd. ... show more

The Good: The lumbar support is better than average, and the overall design is visually appealing. The Bad: The seat is too small and doesn’t provide enough leg support, surprising for a chair advertised for long sitting sessions. The armrests are poorly engineered. They shift side to side far too easily and never stay in place, which becomes extremely frustrating. I can’t tell whether this is a manufacturing defect or simply a flawed design. The support bar for the electric motor isn’t metal, and the manufacturer only offers a two year warranty. That alone suggests how long they expect it to last. You really have to ask yourself: is a thousand dollar chair worth it if it’s only built for two years? Customer Service & Return Experience: If you decide to return the chair, be prepared to cover the shipping cost. I paid over $200 just to send it back. Their customer service is minimal, only email communication. I returned the chair more than four weeks ago and only recently received my partial refund. Now imagine dealing with future issues the same way: no real support, only email replies, and you still have to pay shipping even if the problem is under warranty. You could easily end up spending as much as buying a new chair. Conclusion: Think twice before ordering a chair from this company. Choose a brand with local support where you can speak to a real person if something goes wrong. ... show more

Was shopping around to replace my Tall & Fat office chair for my home. Same old boring chairs. I like to raise my armrests to ape hanger position. Same old hard to find boring. Then I came across this LiberNovo video and I was SOLD! Exactly what I was looking for in a chair. The first five minutes I thought it was overpriced but it only took me ten minutes to realize this chair does MORE than I expected. I NEVER had a chair that the armrests moved with me as I reclined and sat upright. What a feature. The fabric is plenty comfy and I hope the cushioning holds up over time. Love the idea, could be a great 4 or 5 star chair with some changes. The seat is still too short for my legs and the seat bottom doesn't move unfortunately. It's also a bit narrow for my frame.

This is an amazing chair; what it offers for comfort and customization for your body's needs is something I've never experienced. I had one of those expensive gaming chairs and thought it was great, but I just didn't realize how bad the support was. With what this can do and the stretching of the back once or twice a day, I don't know what I'm going to do without this chair. The quality is decent; it would probably be closer to $1500 if there were more metal. I think it's great value and feels like it will stand up. I bought this chair because I started having back pain again while studying long hours for my CPA exam. After giving birth, I’ve had ongoing back issues and have tried physical therapy, a new mattress, and regular exercise. Those helped, but sitting for long periods brought the discomfort back. My husband suggested getting an ergonomic chair, and after reading many reviews and hearing good things from friends, we decided to try the Libernovo chair. It’s definitely expensive and hard to justify at first, but I’m really glad I gave it a try. It’s been a game changer. The back support is excellent and really supports my back well. I also love the recline feature and footrest. I can almost lie flat while still getting great support, which is perfect for listening to lectures while studying.
