This is an excellent sounbar. I am very pleased with it. It's simple to set up and the sound quality is excellent. It functions perfectly with my FireTV remote and has its own remote control to adjust various aspects of the soundbar. The soundbar remote also separately contols the volume level of the bass woofer speaker (Plenty of Bass) It works very well with my Smart TV (FireTV) I set this up using the fiber optic cable that came with it. Once set up, you can simply use your TV remote to control your TV including the volume of the soundbar and put the LG soundbar remote control aside. The soundbar and the bass volumes adjust up and down simultaneously using the TV control. The rewind and fast forward buttons do not work while using the LG remote. I don't know why. But that's no problem since I don't need to use the soundbar remote once I've adjusted the sound to the desired levels. Rewind and fast forward functions do work when using the FireTV remote. The soundbar fits under the TV, hiding my wires in the back of my TV. The Woofer sits neatly beside my TV stand. I highly recommend purchasing this system. It's well worth it's price. ... show more

Incredible packaging. Easy setup, we’ve got an LG TV, and it was one of the few units that use an optical connection. We use wireless headphones, that connect thru an optical splitter. The remote is easy to use, and also works with the TV. The profile is very slim, and rests under our TV which sits on top of a console cabinet.
