I like this unit for the large room it's place in. It works great. However it looses one star for the amount of drainage it has. It has two drain ports one for as needed down low to the floor, and one for continuous drainage in the middle of the unit. My first mistake was leaving it running, set to off and on at 72°F and going to work. I came home to a flooded floor. I then purchased a small piece of tubing, and set it up for continuous drainage into a left over bin, I had. Seeing the amount of water it produces I got a larger bin. With the continuous drainage method, I will never leave it running and go to work. Perhaps if you purchased enough tubing and a 5 gallon bucket you could do so safely, but beware. ... show more

Overall, a great unit. I added a Cool-Aide insulator on the hose. Took 2 minutes to install. It reduced the hose temperature by about 30-40 degrees (exhaust hoses on portable air conditioners get hot regardless of the brand). It reduced my electricity bill by about 1/3.
