My previous TV bit the dust and I needed a replacement. Spent hours researching and reviewing various brands and models before deciding to spend the extra money on this 48-inch OLED C5 from LG. Delivery was fine. Two guys delivered it to my upstairs apartment. I just happened to be home, and they were very polite and treated the package delicately. The picture looks amazing. But it didn't start out that way. During set-up, it asked me, "Hey, you! Do you want to turn on the AI upscaling feature?" And I said, "Heck yeah! That sounds awesome!" Then it said to me, "Great! Let's do it! Now, how about the extra special AI-improved sound? Do you want that!" "Sign me up," I shouted, bouncing up and down on my recliner and excitedly pushing various buttons on my remote. But when it came to watching the TV after that, I was dumfounded. The picture was horrible. Everything looked oversaturated and the people on the screen looked horrible. Instead of flesh tones, it looked like someone turned the contrast up full-blast or something. Like a photoshop filter that was used by someone who doesn't know how to use photoshop. And the audio was horrible as well. One of the first things I watched was a talk show, and the audience sounded like they were in a different room. The TV was trying to change things that didn't need changing, and that made everything worse. I eventually realized the problem was the AI features. Instead of making things better, they actively made them worse. After I went back into settings and put everything to "standard," the TV suddenly looked beautiful. Way better than my previous set (but to be fair, I bought my previous TV in 2014). The sound is okay, but I started to use my old sound bar after those first few days. I've only had this for a month, but the picture is still stunning to look at. I'm still very, very impressed. I use the Hulu app on the TV and it works fine. No issues. I also use "Universal Media Server" to watch content from my computer. It runs through the TV's "media player" app. It was kinda glitchy at first (only meaning that the media player app would freeze-up often while moving through the menus (but not while watching a video)), but after a few days the media player app started working flawlessly, so I suspect it downloaded an update which made everything peachy. I don't have an antenna. Most of my viewing is streamed from my computer and from the TV's Hulu app as well as various streaming sites on my Roku. I like how the TV turns on my soundbar when I turn the TV on. I like how it automatically selects my Roku when I turn it on. My previous TV didn't do those things. I've read that some people dislike the remote. I don't mind it. Seems fine to me. Though the on-screen "pointer" is both very useful and, at times, annoying. But, again, I've only had this TV for a month, so I'm sure I'll get used to it. The main thing is that this TV has an amazing picture, and I love it. I hope it lasts a long time. ... show more

The picture is great. The sound is great. The remote control is not user friendly. It will take time to get used to the remote control. Based on the aforementioned, I can only give the TV four stars. FEDX delivered the TV on time; without a scratch in the box, great job! Thank you FEDX!
