These grab bars are a great temporary solution for a ceramic tile walled bathroom. I now have three of these to assist in getting up from the toilet and in & out of the shower/tub. After I'm healed from surgery, they are coming down. The suction cup material is very soft and sticky. It makes a very good bond to a smooth and clean ceramic tile. But I have found at least one of the cups doesn't hold over a 24-hour period. So I test them before applying a load on them first. If I needed a more long term solution, I would get grab bars that are permanently attached to the wall. Don't throw away the plastic caps for the suction cups these are shipped with. After use, put them back on to protect the suction cup material from getting contaminated. These are worth keeping for the next surgery. :)

We have the smaller tiles which this was made for. I stuck it on once and it's been reliably stuck tightly ever since. So helpful for us seniors to get in and out of the tub/shower. We are really glad that we have it.

My wife had a stroke. We needed garb bars in the shower for her. Our shower has the 4.5" square title. Suction grab bars cannot extend over grout lines. These work beautifully. They seem strong, sturdy, and fit perfectly. Thank you.
