I picked up the Level Lock+ (Matter) version because I wanted something that doesn't look like a bulky smart lock on the door—it's literally invisible from the outside, just a normal deadbolt. Installation was straightforward once I got the hang of it (took about 30-45 minutes, including aligning everything properly). The Matter-over-Thread support is a big plus; it connects reliably to my HomeKit setup via Thread, and response times are fast—no noticeable lag when locking/unlocking from the Home app, Siri, or my Apple Watch. Apple Home Key works seamlessly now—tap my phone or watch to unlock, which is super convenient for quick entries. It integrates nicely with other Matter platforms too if I ever expand beyond Apple, but HomeKit is my main ecosystem and it's solid here. Battery life on the single CR2 has been decent so far (a few months in and still going strong), and the auto-lock feature is reliable. The only issue I ran into was during initial setup with HomeKit—it wouldn't pair properly the first couple times, and I had to do a full factory reset twice. Once that was sorted, no problems since. Level's support docs were helpful for troubleshooting that part. Overall, it's been a reliable upgrade from my old visible smart lock. Discreet design, good smart features, and worth it if you value the clean look and HomeKit integration. 5 stars (with the setup hiccup noted).

I had high hopes for this. It looks great and I love the features. I bought one used and returned it because it didn’t have the keys or the fobs, and the battery was dead. Bought a new one and it installed very easily but it would not calibrate. Apparently your door must be 1.75” and mine is just under that. Very disappointed and I’ll do more homework on my next model purchase.

This is a really sleek product. It feels high end and well built. It was extremely easy to install which is great because I am not handy. User experience on the app feels almost too simple but after learning everything it’s a solid experience. It works great and helps me leave the keys behind and leaves one less thing for me to remember. The app is great and helps me keep track of everything. Easily connects to Apple HomeKit for easy set up.

This is a pretty cool smart lock. I like how easy it is to set up with your phone. The hardware is a bit difficult to install if you don’t have any tools but if you have friends or family with tools that can help out it’s nice.

The Level Lock+ Smart Lock is really easy to install and to use. It has a sleek designed app and product. It's small and heavy which means that it's very durable. I feel more secure with having it and I have peace of mind. The battery lasts a long time and the fingerprint recognition is quick and seamless. I am really glad I upgraded and feel much more secure.

Do not buy this unless you enjoy finding an alternate way to enter your home. This thing jams, throws an error message, or doesn't respond at all more often than I change my socks. And I own a lot of socks. Customer support sends you a copy/pasted checklist as if I don't know that my socks go on before my shoes.

3 stars, its a good lock. My problem is that is does not communicate what needs done unless you use the app, but I have it connected to homekit. So while its not ideal, it is better than the other brand I had

I have the Pro version of this. When it works, it works great. Mine disconnects from the thread network about every 3 weeks. I bought it because of matter/thread and the apple home key ability. In the weeks it has worked, I've noticed that Home Assistant works better than apples homekit. If I pulled up homekit, I never saw the lock as available in a reasonable amount of time (usually 10-20 seconds.) Home Assistant however, always saw it immediately. Eventually, what I've noticed is that it eventually becomes unresponsive in homekit/home assistant after about 3 weeks and the only way to fix it is to reset it to factory and pair it again. I always pair homekit first since that's what you need to do to enable homekeys apparently. Then I do the second pairing to home assistant. I'd like to figure out why it's disconnecting but all I see from home assistant is that it became unresponsive...
