This is a small heater but it works great. I use it at my office and it warms me up fast for as small as it is. It's also pretty quiet.

Two years ago I repurposed a small enclosed porch as a craft and reading space. Since the room isn't connected to my furnace ductwork, it is essentially unusable during the coldest months of the year; a major bummer, as it quickly became one of my favorite spots in the house! I ordered this space heater as an inexpensive and temporary solution to the chill, and it is doing an admirable job. I can turn on the heater and comfortably read or work a few feet away. As a safety feature, it doesn't turn on unless it's placed on a level, flat surface. I run it on the same outlet that controls the light for the room as a safeguard against forgetting to turn it off. The housing and components of this heater are made of lightweight plastic, so I don't expect it to last forever. But for the price point, it's a great buy if you're not ready to upgrade the heating system in a small room that is used infrequently. It's also tiny (barely larger than a computer speaker), so it can be placed on almost any shelf, desk, countertop, etc. I can easily recommend this product.

This heater is actually 250w to 500w. I have been on the search for the best low powered heater to use with my portable power supplies. I am very much into portable power and solar. I have a name brand power station and 3 homemade power stations. I use them in my gazebo, shed, car, camping, etc. When you are running on battery power or a generator, you need to conserve as much energy as you can. It takes a lot of energy to create heat. I have a few other heaters I've tried. One is a chicken coop radiant heater that is 100w to 200w. It is nice, but radiant heaters don't have fans to help circulate the heat. I also have another compact 200w heater from another brand. The other brand works great, but it has a power surge for a few seconds when you first power it on. I decided to try this unit, hoping it wouldn't surge and would go to 200w. This unit not only surged to 250w, but even after heating up, it stayed at 250w on low. On high it accurately consumes 500w. I like that this unit has a tip over safety switch. My other one does not. I tested the switch, and it works great. It does get very hot and has a pretty strong fan that really pushes the heat around. The outer plastic stays cool to the touch. I will be using my older unit when I'm using portable power because it will save me 50w an hour of power. Although the Lerat uses a bit more power, it also gets hotter and has a stronger fan than my other heater. This Lerat unit I will keep in my bathroom. My bathroom is not very big so this heater is perfect for it. This heater has 4 non-slip pads, so it won't slide around on the floor or tabletop. The power cord is thinner than my other unit. It's not a huge deal because it has a low power draw, but I thought it's worth mentioning. Also, the cord is much shorter than my other unit. The power cord is about 41 inches, unlike the 73" cord on my other unit. This may actually be better for some people who are using this on a counter or tabletop and have an outlet nearby. You won't have to worry about a long cable to hide. On the other hand, if you don't have a power supply nearby, you will need an extension cord. Just make sure the cord is rated for over 500w. Although this consumed more than the advertised 200w, it is still a pretty amazing little heater. It works great, especially for the low amount of power it consumes. If you want a compact, low power, draw heater that works great, give this a try. I am deducting a star for the false description of 200w. This was a huge factor in me deciding to order this unit. If they had stated it was 250w, I wouldn't have even ordered it.

Nice little heater. 'Little,' would be the operable word there - does heat too though. My iphone11 is a smidge taller than this little .897 pound heater. I ordered this to take the chill off my small shop office where I tend to spend a lot of time wintering out in the coldest months. I run most of the shop off a solar system with a 14 Kw battery bank - I need a heater that won't suck a lot of juice out of my bank and will still take the chill off the office. This little LERAT electric heater has two speeds – My amp meter shows low pulling 240 watts and high at about 450 Watts. I plugged her in, put her on high, and set an alarm for two hours – works great. You're not going to bake any cookies with this baby, but with a minimal amount of electricity I think she'll take the chill off a small room. I think this baby heater would work very well in a tent too. It is summer now – and I don't want to run this heater for ten hours – I'm sure I'll be doing that plenty in the winter though. If Feb. '25 gets here and this review hasn't been edited – then this little Lerat heater is Rock Solid. I'll try to return and give an update before that – for now though – I have to call this nice little heater ~ 5 Stars ~ ~ Thanks for Reading – Have an Incredible Life! ~
