Put these up a few weeks ago. They’re still going. Man they really light up the yard. Exactly what I needed. They have a 70 foot motion sensor range, which is awesome. My yard is pitch black and I have a lot of it. I like the fact that this stays on for a good minute or so when you’re out there. It’ll dim down just a bit, but it stays on so you can see what you’re doing and have a good amount of time to do what you need to do. And if you move, it’ll go back on. This is one of the best lights I’ve seen and it’s bright but trust me, I’ve used some solar lights over the past 30 years on this property. Mr. beams are pretty good, but I actually kinda like this one even better. it’s brighter, the motion sensor is way better so far and it seems to be waterproof. Winter time is coming so that will put it to the test. Takes the same amount of batteries as Mr. Beam. It’s a little bit lighter weight, but it seems to function pretty well. I’ve only had it a few weeks so I will update this if necessary, but so far so good. ... show more

This item comes well packaged, easy to set up, and works very well. It has a separate mounting plate which was super easy to install, then the light and motion sensor assembly simply slides down and clicks onto the mount and you’re in business. It has 1 modes that control the brightness and duration of the light when triggered, plus an adjustment for the range from the unit to sense motion. I opted for the eco mode which they say will double the battery life. It stays on longer at a lower intensity that is still plenty to light up my area. This light feels solid and I think it’s a great price for what you get. I especially love that it’s battery powered so I didn’t have to run wire or call in an electrician. Our backyard is dark! We have solar lights, a porch light, and flood lights on one side of the house, but it’s still dark. We added this to the bar area of the deck and it works great! The motion detection picks up me and our pets. It is super bright!!
