Just got these yesterday it was easy to put together, the base is hollow, 2 of my kids almost tipped back already , it’s a little dangerous, this is okay with supervision but you need to be careful bc they aren’t chairs that are sturdy. Price point is ok, just temp fix , I guess I will still be looking for more permanent chairs . They aren’t safe ... show more

The chairs seem well made. My family enjoys them. They are just right for sitting at the counter. I would have liked a brighter color, but as it turns out they fit our family well. And the color is compatible with my island in the kitchen. My island has plenty of workspace. The chairs make it so convenient to utilize more of the work space. Its great to get off of our feet while using the space to snack or have coffee, sew, do schoolwork, paint or whatever now that the chairs make it so comfortable in the kitchen. I think anyone who needs sturdy counter chairs with comfy seats and backs would find these a good bargain for their value and construction. ... show more

    • It's an "Okay" product for an "Okay" price/bargain
So far, I'm okay with keeping this set because the quality matches the price point, but I can tell they won't hold up for years on end. The base is much lighter than I would like it to be. I was hoping it was heavy enough to take a bit of might to move it, but it's hollow underneath, and most of the "metal" is actually plastic. So even if you use these on carpet, they'll scoot around a little when you wiggle from time to time. The seats themselves seem to be decent quality as long as you're not roughhousing with them. However, they are made of fake leather, so I'm not expecting to hand these down years from now. As long as the seats and the shaft mechanism hold up well, I'll probably just replace the base some time in the future with a sturdier piece. ... show more

These are great stools for the money. They look lovely, they are super easy to assemble. A six year old could do it. A six year old actually did it. The one hang up I have about these is the metal loop for the feet is on the same part of the pool that attaches to the seat. So you can't push up on that to raise and lower the seat. you basically have to be standing next to it to raise it and sitting on it to lower it. So that's a little inconvenient. Also since the metal loop spins with the chair you can't use that to turn yourself. Like I said, good for the money but could use a little modifications to make them better. They aren't super heavy duty there is a little give to them, hopefully we get our use out of them. ... show more

Was disappointed in the size / width of the seats, the product images definitely mislead me. I figured it was going to be bigger but it wasn't. I can't tell you if it's good quality just yet as it very new. Only assembled it today. The leather is soft and nice seating is quite comfortable. I'm worried about getting on to it. I suggest climbing on to it at the lowest level. It's not sturdy enough to try climbing on when it's tall. Overall, I'm happy with it for the reason I purchased it. I don't think it's safe for kids so I suggest supervision when they are around it. Will easily fall over. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I am very disappointed in the customer service for this product. I've only had this chair for one month and it has major issues with sturdiness. As you can see in my video, it is rendered useless, as it is very wobbly and poorly made. There is no way to tighten it to make it more sturdy. I contacted customer service with a video to show my issue and they are requesting that I pay to send the damaged item back to them in order to receive a refund. It will cost me more than the item is worth to send it back. I'm very disappointed, as I have never received such poor customer service from an Amazon seller before. Pros: - Easy to assemble: it's just 4 screws for the seat and then sliding the parts together. No extra tools needed; an allen wrench is provided - Easy to clean - The chairs look great and feel comfortable. - Very tall: I have a 44 inch tall (112 cm) bar. It was difficult to find bar stools in my style, that were available readily, and that were at least 34 inches tall. - Fast shipping Cons: - I had to return and re-order another set because one of the chair's mechanism to adjust the height was broken. It did not stay at the height level that I wanted and kept automatically going to the highest setting. Then when sitting on it, it would go all the way down. It was good that Amazon had another set that they could send me and it arrived the next day and assembled well. - The base itself is not totally level even before assembly. You will have to be careful if you want your seat at a taller setting. - The mechanism to lift the chairs is a little bumpy. Overall: For the price, this set of barstools will work for now. I'm upset that I have to go through the hassle of returning one set. If you can wait or have the budget for it, I would probably invest in a more sturdy option. Note: This product comes with two stools, not three. I ordered the same stool as a single because I had room for it. ... show more
