I bought this hole saw in hopes that the carbide will hold up better than traditional saws when cutting chromoly tubing. Hole Saw is good quality and seems to hold up well and have some good longevity. For the price it is a much better value that the traditional hole saw.

I needed to drill 10 two-inch holes in cement board. After dulling my two-inch bi-metal hole saw part way through the first hole, I ordered this. Amazing difference. Two observations: (1) I spent more time removing the cement board material from the hole saw than I did drilling the 10 holes. (2) After drilling the 10 holes, I put my cordless drill on charge and the charger showed that it was still fully charged. Yup. The right tool for the job! ... show more
