This hole saw kit turned out to be a solid addition to my toolbox. With multiple size options, it was easy to pick exactly what I needed, and it cut cleanly through wood and plastic with little effort. I used it to cut a clean 6-inch hole in soft pine for installing a new dryer exhaust vent, and the result was smooth and precise. It’s extremely sharp, so you’ll want to handle it carefully, but that sharpness is what makes it work so well. It performs best on softer materials and isn’t ideal for metal, which can wear down the blades. These are soo useful when replacing deadbolts or locks especially in older homes like ours where they only have the stylish knobs. They’re pretty sharp and drilled right thru older wooden doors which is worth the buy! Pretty durable and didn’t see any bends or the saw teeth bent, broken or worn down. Good price. It worked. However, I’ve never used one of these before and either printed instructions or a web link would have helped. I found YouTube videos for competitor products that weren’t assembled the same way but I figured it out.
